Protect the rights, dignity, and survival of homeless peopleCSPD and the Homeless Outreach Team sweeps across the city of Colorado Springs have ripped the homes away from hundreds of people along with their belongings. We ask that the Homeless Outreach Team, as well as the city of Colorado Springs, listen to the people in this city who are horrified by the treatment of our homeless community members. The taking of a human being’s blankets and possessions in the middle of one of the snowiest winters Colorado Springs has had in a few years should stop immediately. This direction points to recognizing that blankets and personal belongings are a matter of survival for someone without housing, especially so in the winter. We demand that blankets and survival gear not be taken from homeless people. Until there is actual attainable low-income housing enough to meet the needs of the thousands of people who find they cannot afford the exorbitant price of rent (that is continuing to rise) in Colorado Springs, people will be living on the streets. Shelters are not an option for many people.81 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jerima King

TBB Street NamingAs a filmmaker, I became aware of the huge impact that the crew had on floor rocking when TT Boy fell and inspired the rest of the tagging crew (at that time) to hit the floor in addition to top rocking which was catching on in the urban Bronx Dance Culture at the time. They are a very instrumental part of what we now know as Hip-Hop.235 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Bob McCullough

Lights for Night Volleyball at Kennedy ParkI have been involved with recreational volleyball as a player and organizer for the past 20 years. Beach volleyball as a community sport has grown tremendously in the past 10 years. As a result, the players are struggling to find suitable courts to play at night. The installation of lights at Kennedy Park will greatly serve our community.69 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Leo Rodriguez

Stop Stewart's Sunset Rd. ProjectAs a neighbor of this project. I am concerned about the traffic, noise, light, and possibility for pollution of our aquifer. This would be a great project for another part of Schodack.101 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Dennis Wheeler

Petition to the Governor of FloridaPetition For Use Of A State Property: MJ Enterprises of Brevard Co., Inc.. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to opening transitional housing for homeless veterans. We have found a facility that is owned by the state of Florida that was a halfway house for juvenile females up until 2016 located at 5332 Riveredge Drive Titusville Fl. We have contacted the state juvenile department and inquired about leasing the property to use for our housing. They have no immediate or future plans for the property and have told us that they would “contact us if things changed.” This was 1 year ago, and we have not heard from them since. The property is still vacant, and we need your help in attempting to get their attention. This property would be ideal for our needs; everything we need is already there, (dormitories, admin building, rec room, kitchen, etc.) All we would need to do is move in staff, stock the kitchen and hire staff. Please sign this petition to send to our Governor! Please Governor DeSantis help us help our homeless veterans!120 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Marilyn Graw

The People of the Georgiana Area Are Against the Proposed State Transportation Changes in Our AreaWe have recently learned of a major change to our local interstate exchange that will affect not only local citizens but the local businesses as well. We feel that this is a "quick fix" in the eyes of the state department of transportation but they neglected to completely weigh out all other options. The proposed plans are not within reason when considering all aspects of the community as a whole. We would sincerely appreciate your support in the matter. Every signature counts!275 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Tammy Hicks

How many more need to die? Fix Hickory Creek Road!!Today it was discovered that two teen boys lost their lives when their vehicle drove into the creek. How many more people need to die before action is taken to make Hickory Creek Road safer? Four people have died since 2017* on this stretch of road alone. This road lacks basic safety measures such as guardrails and an inadequate amount of reflective posts. It's a road that winds along a 20-foot drop into a creek with a sharp S turn. It ends at Country Club Rd in a steep, angled hill that has seen more than a dozen incidents in the past 2 years. *Awaiting an official number from City of Denton or the County, currently official statement was "multiple fatalities" before today's incident.3,725 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Jay Rodney Stucki
