The Democrats have turned their backs on Progressives and moved to the right. The Green Party is now the one best positioned to continue supporting our views.

Where there is no research there can be no progress. Too many people are suffering from brain injuries caused by lack of oxygen. There are no research breakthroughs or trial medications that stimulate the brain's system. Insurance companies deny different options because most treatments are too expensive. Our loved ones deserve a second chance at living healthy and productive lives.

BLACK LIVES MATTER in Cuyahoga County is starting this petition because our nation will never become safe and just as long as police officers are allowed to operate ABOVE THE LAW. Police officers need to FOLLOW THE LAW in order to create a safer environment for everyone. Officer Michael Brelo's behavior -- standing on the hood of a car as he and dozens of other police officers fired 137 shots into the bodies of two innocent, unarmed African-Americans -- raises two suspicions: 1) Officer Brelo was likely hyped up on drugs during these tragic murders. 2) Officer Brelo knew that the political power of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association gave the officers involved the green light to murder two innocent, unarmed minorities in broad daylight -- even if the killings had been captured on videotape.

All they saw was this man who, before the trial, never used a cane, armed with his prop to elicit the jury's sympathy as a poor victim rather than the aggressor that he truly is. All of this was due to the fact that I feed a mother duck and her six babies which he didn't like. After he came at me and put his hands on my shoulders and knocked me to the ground with him on top of me and me landing on my face with a 250-+-pound man on top of me, I defended myself and got convicted for it for FELONY BATTERY ON A PERSON 65 OR OVER. Lauren Steiner proudly voted for Jill Stein in 2012 but supported Bernie Sanders for the Democratic Primary because, like Bernie, she thought he had a better chance to be President running in the Democratic Party. However, it was always her intention to endorse Jill Stein, if Bernie did not make it, and work for her campaign, if she was so fortunate to be hired. She worked straight through the Democratic Convention where she organized the Monday night protest against the TPP seen around the world. As an activist and an organizer, Lauren would be able to reach out not only to Bernie supporters, college students and Millennials in California but also to groups organized around issues. I just came back to live in Puerto Rico after 36 years in the continental USA. The powerlessness of Puerto Rico is oppressive. While Walmart, Walgreen's, Sam's Club, Burger King and American companies make millions of dollars from a captive audience (almost tax free), we have no money to pay for special education services and to invest in our basic education and health services. Now our government has been declared by the US dysfunctional and with the approval of PROMESA , an oversight board named by the President who will rule over own elected government, our colonial status is more evident than ever.

DuPont poisoned thousands of us with C-8, and their irresponsible behavior is finally catching up to them. They've been ordered to pay 5.6 million dollars to David Freeman, who has testicular cancer as a result of their actions. But, DuPont is trying to use corporate tricks to avoid paying what they owe. If they are allowed to merge with Dow, the money will be hidden and we may never get the compensation we are owed. Even though we know they've planned it all out, DuPont hasn't said where the money will go, and until we have the answers, we can't let the merger go through. Attorney General Loretta Lynch is the only one that can stop this. Tell her to step in before it's too late. We can't let them put more people at risk!

What is Donald Trump hiding? By refusing to release his tax returns as he bids to become the next president of the USA, he is flouting modern electoral conventions and ignoring the wishes of the American people. By this simple act, by releasing his tax returns to open inspection by experts and lay folk alike, he can easily allay any fears of underhandedness or dishonesty in his business dealings. This is a big, big issue in this election, and he has nothing to fear if he has, as he repeatedly states, nothing to hide.

I was not allowed to represent myself in a lower court criminal case and when I tried to appeal the decision my case was taken over by an international syndicate of attorneys. Since I was unable to protect myself from denial of my 4th Amendment right to feel secure in my person and possessions and since I was denied my 14th Amendment right to own property the NSA should be responsible for their attack on those 2 Amendments by stealing the paid for property of Americans, the integrity of their phones. The Court must order an end to the 2 party system and the Electoral College and order NSA to prepare a voter data base and also put all parties candidates on the ballot because Dr. Jill Stein made the ballot in Washington and under the Constitution that means that all the voters get her on their ballots.

I feel strongly that Donald Trump is a fraud and I truly believe his tax returns would reveal that. And I can't believe the press is not pushing him more on this. He gets away with lying over and over and needs to be held accountable.

There are circumstances when it is absolutely essential for members of Congress to set aside their partisan politics. The need for enacting reasonable measures to protect the public health is one of them. It is irresponsible for Congress to not be in session while this emergency funding measure has not been resolved. We can't wait months until Congress reconvenes in the Fall. A mosquito borne viral epidemic does not wait or care, it only spreads farther. Even a single case of microcephaly or other birth defect in a child caused by the Zika virus that could have been prevented would be too many.

Donald Trump just asked Vladimir Putin, Russia's dangerous dictator, to commit espionage on Secretary Hillary Clinton and publicize state secrets that could threaten the security of the United States. Trump’s unprecedented request is not only dangerous, it may also violate federal law. What’s even more horrifying is that, as the Republican Nominee for President, Trump is scheduled to start receiving classified national security briefings as early as tomorrow. Donald Trump is a very real, dangerous, and serious threat to our national security. And he should not be let within 10 feet of any classified security information. We must join together and raise a massive outcry NOW before it’s too late!
