In addition, many concerns have been raised over the misogyny characterizing this process, and the repercussions this could have on female political leadership and broader questions of social justice in our hemisphere. We urge you to take a stance on this matter, critical to the public trust in our democratic institutions and bilateral relations. In October, a group of concerned citizens told Karen Keith that we do not want the Juvenile Justice Center in North Tulsa. They found a group of pastors to sign on to the plan to build anyway - against the wishes of the community. Tell the commissioners once and for all, we do not want this type of "economic development" in North Tulsa!

To save innocent children and their families from the legal abuse that the department of human resources and the courts are committing against fit and loveing families by Kidnapping our kids and violating our God given and civil rights in order to collect government funds, services, and child support. Parents need to be aware of the truth so families can protect themselves and raise their children that God blessed them with without interference. Our Children's lives and futures are being destroyed everyday for reasons like a human resource employee may not agree with a parenting style, or they may say that they think that it's possible the child is at potential risk of being neglected in the future though there has never been any neglect in the past. This should never be reason to remove a child from their safe fit home and loving family, placed into government foster care where the chances of them being sexually, physically, abused, and or even killed. This is not uncommon in foster care. It happens everyday. Our prison population is made up of 85% of former foster children that live with the devastation of being torn from their families as a child and alienated from their loved ones. It's causes the child much more harm and places them a much higher risk more than doubling their chances of suffering from neglect, abuse, death and in almost all cases as an adult their potential is never met in life. The majority of the unemployed, Homeless, addicts, and violent offenders come from foster care. This is information collected by government statistics yet they are still funding these crimes. Our children are our lives, our futures and the civil rights garenteed to all Americans or God's supreme law and rights should not be a thing of the past. Who are we to judge lest we be judged? Fact Dhr, Cps, and organizations that deal with foster placement are paid to remove children from their parents and lives but they are not paid to leave them in their own homes with their families nor do they get paid to return them. This is a multi-billion dollar business in the United States. U.S children are a higher profitable commodity than crack cocaine and heroin. The demand for this commodity is growing . That means that your child is at high risk of being abducted into state foster care and the majority of children are placed on psychological mind altering black boxed drugs that change the chemical make up in their developing brains. Do not think that it's unlikely that your child and family will become the target of such an unimaginable horrific and devastating tragedy because everyday their is a high demand for kids in order for Dhr to receive funding and create more jobs for their employees. This is not a God send. It is a business making profit off of taking away our future and the greatest God sent gifts we have. This has to stop! This is abuse in every sense at its highest and worst but it will continue as long as we let it. Some where there has got to be a line drawn. Our homes is a good place to start if you care about the safety of your children. Please do the research your self. You will be horrified at what you find. It's unacceptable for men to make this health care decision for young women—when they've never known what it's like to be in their position. Despite the national attacks on Planned Parenthood, Oregon has been a leader– we've reduced teen pregnancy rates by 55% between 1988 and 2014 through the expansion of comprehensive age-appropriate and science-based sexual education and access to contraception. This decision from the Hillsboro School Board sets us back and can hurt the future of young women. This outrageous criticism was aimed at Judge Curiel, an Indiana-born, highly esteemed judge who was initially appointed by a Republican governor. And Trump followed up by saying that Muslim judges would also not be suitable to consider a case brought against Trump. This is the definition of racism. And while Republican leaders like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have expressed their concern, they are still standing by their endorsement of the presumptive Republican nominee. This week, another Republican Senate candidate, Mark Kirk from Illinois, publicly renounced his support of Donald Trump over these latest racist comments. You can't have it both ways. If you consider Trump's views racist, declare that he's unfit for the presidency—and revoke your endorsement of him, declaring you will not support him in November. If you don't, then you are standing on the side of racism.

It's bad enough that more than half of our federal tax dollars go to the feed the bloated Pentagon and its fat cat contractors, while we're told there's not enough money for public education. But now Senator John McCain wants to pad the Pentagon budget with $18 billion more in an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA]. [1] How much money is $18 billion? Bernie Sanders' plan for tuition-free public college would cost $70 billion a year. So-called "conservatives" howled: you'll bust the budget! We don't have the money! But McCain's bid to pad the Pentagon budget by $18 billion is barely being noticed by the national media. You flush $18 billion down the toilet four times, you just threw away the money for tuition-free public college. Urge Senators to oppose the McCain amendment to waste $18 billion more of our tax dollars on the Pentagon and demand a recorded vote by signing our petition. I am starting this petition because I am tired of rapists being given short, uneven and unproductive sentences for a crime that forever impacts the lives of their victims. The judicial system has never treated women's lives with the same importance as men's, and the classification of Hate Crime would give women the statistical (FBI) and criminal status along with other protected classes.

From the Santa Fe Coalition for Alternatives to Pesticides (SF CAP): Ever since the City of Santa Fe passed an integrated pest management (IPM) ordinance in 2001, city parks, streets, and buildings have been as free as possible from pesticide applications. What a joy it has been to know you can take your children and pets there without fear of being exposed to poisons. And know that bees and wildlife are not being harmed. But that is about to change. The current IPM coordinator and Parks Division Director have breached our existing IPM ordinance, and are no longer committed to the no pesticide policy. They have already sprayed Rufina Street with glyphosate (active ingredient in Roundup), a known cancer-causing chemical. They have also begun regular monthly pesticide spraying of the golf shop buildings, and made at least two applications of herbicides for weed prevention. All these actions violate the IPM ordinance, and future applications are surely to follow, since the IPM coordinator said if he couldn’t use pesticides, he'd “better get another job”. The City had it right when it stated in the IPM Ordinance that “(t)he city, in carrying out its operations, shall assume pesticides are potentially hazardous to human and environmental health.”
