• Let's Actually Make America Great Again! Forgive All Student Debt & Make Public Colleges FREE
No 22-year-old should have to enter the real world already in a virtual debtors' prison. 43 MILLION AMERICANS are $1.3 TRILLION in debt because of student loans, and that amount increases by $3,000 every second. This is cruel and no other democracy pays for college like we do. Let's ACTUALLY make America great again!

  • TPP: No To Post-Election "Etch-a-Sketch"
In an interview from Davos with Bloomberg TV on January 20, Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue, a top lobbyist for the pro-corporate-power Trans-Pacific Partnership [TPP] agreement, assured viewers that if Hillary Clinton wins the Presidential election, she will support the TPP, even though she opposes it now. [1] Inside U.S. Trade reported: "The Chamber president said he expected Hillary Clinton would ultimately support the TPP if she becomes the Democratic nominee for president and is elected. He argued that she has publicly opposed the deal chiefly because her main challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), has also done so. 'If she were to get nominated, if she were to be elected, I have a hunch that what runs in the family is you get a little practical if you ever get the job,' he said." [2] Donohue also said TPP will not be voted on prior to the election because Senate Republicans do not want to do anything that could jeopardize Republican Senators in close races. But he said he believed there was a 75 percent chance that TPP would get done in the lame-duck session after the election. [3] Voters have the right to know now what Democratic and Republican politicians will do on the TPP after the election, yes or no. Urge Members of Congress to take a stand now and pledge to stick to that stand after the election by signing our petition. References: 1. "Will the Trans-Pacific Partnership Deal Survive?" • Repeal of the Indiana Right To Work Law
Right to Work laws weakens unions ability to fight for workers rights, creating lower wages and more unsafe working conditions. As an everyday electrical worker I am affected by this law everyday.

  • KFC: Help Save Antibiotics!
According to the CDC, more than 2 million Americans get sick from antibiotic-resistant infections each year, and 23,000 people die. Yet, more than 70 percent of antibiotics sold in the United States go to livestock and poultry operations, which routinely mix huge quantities of antibiotics into the feed of animals that aren’t sick. This practice increases the likelihood that all kinds of bacteria will develop resistance to antibiotics, meaning our life-saving medicines won't work. As the national Colonel of fried chicken, KFC has tremendous power to change the chicken market and put an end to this dangerous practice... but they won't do it unless they know that consumers demand it. • JP Morgan Chase has made Susie Homeless and Heartbroken!
Susie Johnson is my mother and my hero. I have been fighting this fight for over 14 years to help my mother retain her home all while seeing the devastating affects this fight has had on her. My mom has lost her will to live and has been made homeless from this ordeal. She has suffered immeasurably and cannot even afford to pay her own rent because the banks egregious mistake has caused her to pay an exorbitant storage bill and if she neglects to pay this, she will lose everything else that she owns in this world. My mom has lost her will to live. She says that she was treated like nothing therefore she must be nothing and no matter how much I try to tell her otherwise, the facts are that JP Morgan Chase has treated her like she is nothing, how else should she feel?

  • Alabama universities shouldn't be mandated to allow guns on campus
My wife teaches at the University of Montevallo in Alabama. We both believe that this bill will make her workplace more dangerous, not safer. The presence of guns in classrooms can also create a threatening atmosphere that stifles the free exchange of ideas and opinions critical to learning and may intimidate students and professors alike.

  • Indian Trail Citizens for Safer Neighborhoods and Traffic Flow
Spokane City is considering allowing zoning changes which would allow developers to build more apartment complexes in Indian Trail without making substantial traffic flow and road changes. Multifamily development has greatly increased traffic congestion on the single lane road, and compromised the safety of children and other pedestrians.

  • FLINT: First poison water and now deportations? Tell the Obama administration to stop this now.
People who have been poisoned in Flint should not have to fear the government when trying to access clean water. Communities in Flint have been poisoned for more than a year due to the reckless actions of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. And for many in the immigrant community it’s only been in the last couple of weeks that they’ve known the extent and severity of the crisis. As if the fear and the reality of being poisoned by the actions of the Snyder administration wasn’t enough, immigrant communities also have to fear being deported away from their families as they’ve tried to seek help. There have been reports of water distribution centers in Flint asking for IDs against the orders of the State of Michigan. Even worse, when immigrants have gone to pick up water at the grocery store for fear that interactions with the government could lead to their deportation, there have been reports of Immigrant and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents targeting and apprehending people. Demand that the federal government put a moratorium on raids and deportations in Flint immediately, until the water crisis is over and everyone who is at risk of lead poisoning is given proper care and support.
