Fund Housing for Autistic AdultsAs a mother of a 30 year old autistic son, I see first hand the limitations of housing for autistic adults. The number of people diagnosed with autism continues to climb, but the number of services have not. What is going to happen to these individuals as they age while their elderly parents are no longer able to care for them? As a state, we need to pass legislation to provide housing for this special population.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lois Pasapane

PTCC Elimination of school property taxesRetirees and senior citizens are struggling to pay their school taxes throughout the Commonwealth. 10,000 people lose their homes and there are 350,000 foreclosures each year. People's golden year are turning to rust; finding that after the mortgage is paid off they don't own their home. The working middle class who want to own a home, a dream that some will never see because they cannot afford to purchase and pay taxes that are out of reach. Think about the Grandma down the street, the sweet older man at your Church or Temple, the widow or widower or your family members. Chances are at least one of these seniors are struggling to pay their taxes or to put food on the table. Where do these people in middle class with children, after the loss of a job or illness go that are evicted ? People of all ages suffer when they fall on hard times through no fault of their won. No man should lose his Castle who has worked up to retirement and dreams of owning a home. If we can send man to the MOON that seemed impossible, but WE Did IT! WE can with HB/SB 76. When you purchase something, pay it off, you own it .You purchase a home, pay the mortgage but you don't own it . You have been paying rent to the government.126 of 200 SignaturesCreated by charles Urban

Refer to Voters Amendment to Oregon Constitution to Allow Limits on Political Campaign Contributi...Oregon's elections are dominated by huge contributions. The Oregonian says that campaigns for the Oregon Legislature are the most expensive in America per capita, except New Jersey. Single Individuals and single corporations often make contributions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to candidates. It now costs $600,000 to $1 million to win a contested race for the Oregon Legislature, even though a seat in the House can be won with as few as 12,000 votes. No wonder that the long-standing State Integrity Investigation of the Center for Public Integrity and Public Radio International in November 2015 gave Oregon an overall F grade on avoiding corruption in state government, as well as Fs on political financing, executive accountability, lobbying disclosure, and ethics enforcement agencies. Oregon's overall rank fell from 14th to 42nd, the biggest drop of any state. It's time for Oregon to join the other 45 states with limits on political contributions.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Oregon Progressive Party

Iraq WMD Claims: What Did They Know & When?A declassified Joint Chiefs of Staff [JCS] report shows that in September 2002, senior officials of the Bush Administration, including Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Air Force General Richard Myers, and Air Force Maj. Gen. Glen Shaffer, knew that the Bush Administration's public case for war did not match U.S. intelligence knowledge. [1] Politico notes that several Iraq war architects are now advising Republican presidential candidates. Then Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, whose military assistant was copied on the JCS report, is one of Jeb Bush’s foreign policy experts. John Bolton is advising Ted Cruz. Elliott Abrams and William Kristol are supporting Marco Rubio. Senator Dick Durbin, who voted against the war, said on the Senate floor in April 2007 that as a member of the Senate intelligence committee, he had known in 2002 that U.S. intelligence knowledge did not match the Bush Administration's public case for war. “The information we had in the intelligence committee was not the same information being given to the American people. I couldn’t believe it,” Durbin said. [2] Politico notes that the 2002 JCS report was available for inspection by Members of Congress, if they were interested. But as the Washington Post reported in April 2004, as Congress debated the war in the fall of 2002, no more than six senators and a handful of House members read the classified National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq WMD. [3] Urge the New York Times to investigate who in the Administration and Congress knew the public case for the Iraq war was bogus and when they knew it, and who should have known, by signing our petition. Hillary Clinton Release the Transcripts of Her Wall Street SpeechesHillary claims that she will reform Wall Street if she wins but does not say what she told them in their speeches. To fight corruption and the taking over of our government by monied interests, we need transparency when possible as to what is promised to them by politicians behind closed doors.1,858 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by MICHAEL T EHRLICH

Assemblymember Baker: Please vote Yes on the CA DISCLOSE Act!Any day now, the full California Assembly will take a final vote on AB 700, the California DISCLOSE Act (Gomez-Levine), and strike the biggest blow yet against the unlimited secret money unleashed by Citizens United. AB 700 requires that ballot measure ads and ads about candidates by outside groups clearly disclose their top three true funders — on the ads themselves. TV and video ads will display the top 3 true funders in easy to read text on a black background on one-third of the screen for a full 5 seconds. There are similar powerful rules for ads on radio, in print, online, even robocalls. Equally important are rules for earmarking to identify true funders when they try to hide behind shell groups with misleading names. It's time to stop the deception! Assemblymember Baker is a key vote. Sign and share the petition urging her to vote “Yes” on AB 700 before it's too late!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by California Clean Money Campaign

End Congressional District GerrymanderingCongressional gerrymandering in Ohio by Republicans has ensured that they control 12 of 16 districts; even though our state is considered balanced - or "purple". These districts as drawn have no regard to city, county or township lines; such as Scioto County being split in half between the 2nd and 6th Congressional Districts. Marijuana Task Force EquityThe Cannabis Advocacy Community is a broad spectrum of voices including social justice, industrial hemp, and patient's rights. The Marijuana Task Force created by the Ohio House is not diverse - and also includes two architects of ResponsibleOhio - the corrupt Issue 3 campaign using the Ohio Constitution to create a cartel. This hurts Ohio as a state and Ohio's future standing in the national cannabis economy and policy.198 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Michael Hiles
