I don't want Congress to buy time for fossil fuel money!

We have the technology to switch to wind and solar power, now. Our emissions are up 10% this year and we need to switch from Hydro power that is no longer effective due to the drought.

As part of the effort to have this Democratic primary reflect the actual will of the voters, it's important not only that "Superdelegates" themselves pledge to respect the will of the voters in their state's primary, but also that prominent information sources (such as media outlets and internet search engines) report delegates that have been fairly won through the democratic process first and foremost. "Superdelegates," who might change their mind, and often do change their mind to respect the will of the voters of their state, should be reported as such, with words like "provisionally won" or "pledge indicated."

People forget that Dr. King's real dream was income equality, redistribution of wealth. Whereas, wealth has been redistributed, it just hasn't trickled down to the 51% of Americans making less than $30,000 a year. We haven't forgotten the dream. "Time to end the 'wait' state."

Bernie Sanders is on a roll among actual voters, with a blowout victory in New Hampshire (22 points!) and a virtual tie in Iowa. When Bernie is on the ballot - he can win. But in a close race, Superdelegates can snatch that victory away. The following superdelegates have preemptively pledged support to Hillary Clinton: Dan Halpern, Nikema Williams, David Worley, Leslie Small, David Scott, Sally Rosser, DuBose Porter, John Lewis, Hank Johnson. We want to send them a message that to uphold our democracy, their votes must follow the will of the people, and not the will of the elites. Only by pushing back against this possibility can we ensure that the candidate WE vote for becomes the nominee.

The people are tired of insiders influencing elections. Due to money in politics, Superdelegates that represent 10,000 civilian votes are no longer welcome in the election process. The Democratic nomination should be based on the popular vote, without the influence of corruptible Washington insiders

Both California and Oregon have adopted Automatic Voter Registration systems, and more than 7 million residents have been registered to vote as a result. Illinois should be next! Tell the legislature to pass Senate Bill 2134!

Voting rights in America is being suppressed, and action is required on multiple levels. Proper legal rights and responsibilities for under-represented territories, the right to vote for all Americans including felons who have had their right to vote revoked, and the elimination of the Electoral College in favor of a one human = one vote policy are all long overdue.

Many Americans are looking for fundamental change in the relationship between Washington and Wall Street. They want Washington to regulate Wall Street, not the other way around. Bernie Sanders has said that no one from Goldman Sachs would ever work in his administration. [1] Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has refused to rule out a Treasury Secretary from Wall Street. It appears that these three women stand for the old guard, the corrupt and wealthy people who will do or say anything to support the 1%. We need to let them know we no longer will tolerate corrupt "business as usual" along with intimidation and condescension.

We need to respect the popular vote!
