Given unlicensed and unfettered access to an individual for covert publicity mass media profited while their target was persecuted, deprived of court redress, and treated as a secret slave. It's time President Obama ended this misuse of US intelligence by ending interception of a citizen and electronic trafficking by press and media.

I am disabled and only 33 years old. I am a single mother of two beautiful children. Thanks to the IRIS Program, I am in my home with my children, though I am disabled from the middle of my back to my toes. The reason for this is because IRIS allowed me to choose a care giver, or they would have found me one, figured out a monthly amount I am allotted through the program and is paying my care giver to take care of me and my household. My care giver cooks meals, helps with my children, helps with my pets, does the yard work; he does everything I would and could do before I became disabled. Without this program, I would have to be in some type of nursing or rehabilitation facility for the rest of my life. I would no longer have my children. I would no longer have my life. And that is not all IRIS does! If I were to need a new bed or a repair on my house such as a ramp going up to my door, I would simply submit it to my IRIS case worker, who is available for me during all business hours by phone. She would submit the request, and they would allot me the extra money, as long as it is something I need due to my disability. Please help the weak and vulnerable in the state of Wisconsin. If we can stand up together and save this program in Wisconsin, maybe it can grow and help someone you love.

The practice of government-mandated high-stakes testing is harmful to our children, their teachers and our public education system and must be stopped in its tracks, because they are not scientifically based; foster test-driven education; foster coercion over cooperation; support complicity of corporate interests; promote a culture of lying, cheating and exploitation within the school community; present a racial and economic bias that is detrimental to second language students, impoverished students, and students of color; put at risk, by personal data collection, our children’s constitutional right to privacy, and blatantly manifest the over-reach of the federal government into the lives of our children, teachers and public education systems in Idaho.

I suggest that Sojourner Truth's face be used on the Twenty Dollar Bill, since much of the labor building this country was on the backs of Slaves, whom Sojourner Truth sought to deliver from their condition of involuntary servitude.

We need to stop this abhorrent practice of taking advantage of struggling and vulnerable student loan borrowers who are desperate for a solution for their crushing debt and succumb to the false promises of these predatory student loan debt relief companies, who take their money and provide a service that is available for free.

The science is in on this issue, marijuana is safe, far safer than alcohol. Colorado has shown, this can be done. We can pull Pennsylvania out of the pension problem, fix the school funding, and cut property taxes, just with the tax revenue, while putting thousands to work here in PA

Vacation rentals decrease the pool of housing for residents, push up prices for buyers and renters, increase property taxes for everyone else, and change the character of a neighborhood. In 2008 when Ikaika Anderson was Planning and Zoning Vice-Chair they killed a similar enforcement Bill by refusing to hear it, and then pushed a Bill legalizing new vacation rentals, which was defeated. Resolution 15-72 is just like the defeated Bill from 2008. Resolution 15-72 gives permits for independent dwellings with their own entrance, kitchens and 3 bedrooms (that is a family home!) to be legal vacation rentals in all residential zones across Oahu. 0.5% of all housing can be vacation rentals with 1/3 of the total concentrated in a single district. Neighbors have no say. Resolution 15-72 weakens the enforcement tools and penalties requested by DPP. The applicant is supposed to live on-site, but there are no penalties for breaking this rule. Because of the housing crisis, we are converting good agricultural land to housing. The City is also moving to increase the density in residential areas – allowing “Additional Dwelling Units” which are Ohana units that can be rented anyone. These should not go forward without enforcement: they will be used for tourists instead of residents. Please sign this petition and write or call all City Council members and let them know you want effective enforcement of vacation rentals to protect housing stock for residents before any other changes are considered. The Building (21) is silently suffering from lack of leadership. Our current Building Captain is ignored and dismissed by the Board members and peers in Section 3 management. WE HAVE TO REPLACE HIM IN ORDER TO MOVE ON WITH OUR REQUESTS AND BUILDING NEEDS IN THE FUTURE!

I am starting this petition because I went to the hemp for hope workshop last year and learned you can make great grown and made on maui products such as hempcrete, insulation, canvas, clothing, hemp oil, hemp seed, biofuels, and paper just to name a few great uses. On July 4, 1776 the declaration of independence was written on hemp paper. I feel it is time to allow entrepreneurs and businesses in our community to partake and invest in the over half a billion dollar industry that continues to grow throughout the nation. Legalizing the cultivation of industrial hemp and expanding the industry to others that want to adopt safer agricultural practices, protect our environment, and make Hawai‘i a better place for future generations is common sense, a great idea, and the right thing to do.

We need a No Tolerance law for Ohio, like Kentucky has, to charge dealers for murder, not manslaughter. Put the addicts in rehab, not jail.

Motivate and prepare residents for solving community problems....
