Mr. Stumpf is one of the most talented and dedicated teachers at the Londonderry Middle School. He inspires our children and encourages and promotes their creativity. He boosts their confidence and is concerned about developing the whole child. Whether in the classroom or out on the field, Mr. Stumpf is a positive male role model. He has made a lasting impact on a generation of our children. It is essential that this community work hard to retain such a powerful force in our school rather than let him go in the district's planned "reduction in force."

Everyday we find the public officials are committing crimes and are sentenced like regualr citizens. Public officials must be held to a higher standard so we have better people in office!

In 2002, the South Miami-Dade community was promised Metro-Rail services. After over a decade of broken promises, we have decided to take action. With the fastest growing population in South Miami-Dade County, commuting by vehicle and bus has become an unbearable attack on our quality of life. South Miami-Dade County calls upon Miami-Dade County Transit, MDX, and the MPO, to deliver Metro Rail services to South Miami-Dade. As a result of broken promises made to the people of South Miami-Dade, the following situations have occurred: • A round trip from Florida City to Downtown Miami costs an estimated $15.28 in gas and tolls per vehicle. • For those working fulltime on minimum wage, the costs of driving can cost residents up to 24% of their yearly take home pay. • The drive from Florida City to Downtown Miami can frequently take up to two hours. • Florida City residents who commute to Downtown Miami spend an estimated 500 hours a year just commuting to work. • It takes a child four hours (round trip) to visit the Perez Art Museum from Florida City by bus. • It takes a Florida City resident up to six hours (round trip) to use Miami-Dade Transit/bus to reach the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). • It takes almost a three hour trip on Miami-Dade Transit/bus (one way) to reach FIU MMC Campus from Florida City. • Traffic congestion is persistent on US1 and with the expected growth in the South will only get worse. South Miami-Dade communities of Florida City, Homestead, Pinecrest, Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, & Unincorporated Dade, stand together in our resolve for equal access to all that Miami-Dade County has to offer its citizens.

Rhode Island is the only state in New England that doesn't allow any type of window tint on passenger vehicles. There are many functional benefits to having window tint. Throughout President Obama's presidency the Republican Party has treated him with utter disrespect. They have pushed the limits of decorum on many occasions but this is an act of TREASON and everyone of them needs to be apprehended by Attorney General Eric Holder. If he does not, then our Constitution means nothing and the Republicans will continue to believe that they are above the law. Their letter indicates that they will not follow any agreement the President might make with Iran which in itself is another act that breaks International Law. These Senators are an embarrassment, as well as being traitors and need to be removed from office immediately.

This would be a disaster for the safety of our citizens and police because it would allow people like George Zimmerman to carry concealed guns anywhere in our state, including places like Times Square and Niagara Falls, visited by millions each year. This bill is bad for Congressional District 23, bad for New York State and bad for our Nation.

A Student Aid Bill of Rights 1. Every student should have access to quality, affordable education and colleges and universities should find new ways to reduce costs, accelerate learning and help students earn degrees and certificates. 2. Every student should be able to easily access the resources needed to help pay for college, including scholarships that keeps pace with educational costs. 3. Every student who borrows a student loan should be able to choose a repayment plan that allows them to afford their monthly payments. (For example: Student Loan Refinancing, Income Based Repayment and Pay As You Earn) 4. Every student who borrows a student loan should have the right to high-quality customer service, including timely and reliable information about their loans and fair treatment if they face challenges repaying their loans.

PETITION BACKGROUND We believe that it's possible to remove the majority of the homeless off the streets of Sunland Tujunga and into a safe environment by using Camp 15. We believe that using the abandoned camp will incur a minimal amount of cost to the private & public sector. It is our hope that this petition will generate enough interest to create a safe haven for those of us who have lost our homes. Of the 60-plus homeless we've spoken with, all would be willing to volunteer their time & energy to make this a reality. The local churches and service organizations could help in job training and counseling services. Recently there have been numerous threats & various acts of vandalism against us. When we try to report it, nothing happens. We believe the time has come for our political leaders and community leaders to band together to help, not persecute, them, as is now happening with LAPD'S DAILY HARRASSMENT. THE HOMELESS OF SUNLAND-TUJUNGA ARE CURRENTLY BEING STALKED BY A UNIFORMED VIGiLANTE GROUP. WE ARE MEMBERS OF THIS COMMUNITY & WE DEMAND TO BE TREATED AS SUCH. Many of us actually feel as though we're living in pre-WW 2 Germany. It's like being one step away from the concentration camps. Hear our plea, with over 150 homeless just in Sunland-Tujunga and the camp sitting idle for over 10 years, this is a viable solution. We thank you for your time.
