The Religious Freedom Restoration Act states that a provider's " religious reasons" could prevent a person in need from receiving medical help, housing, or a driver's license. This Act is discriminatory and unkind. We the people of Michigan who have signed this petition do not support this Act.

The Boston City Council has begun a series of hearings to address diversity in Boston's institutions of higher education. While some institutions claim these hearings are not necessary, we believe that the hearings are necessary and we expect full participation from the Presidents and leadership of Boston's institutions of higher learning.

Making a change to the dress code that would make kids' and parents' lives easier, instead of more challenging, would be greatly appreciated. We've endured countless little changes to the uniform code over the past 6-7 years. Complying with the many changes while knowing there is little real return is frustrating, but we've done it. White socks and tights: that is all we're asking. We have been good with keeping up with the uniform merry-go-round, but we're getting dizzy and unamused after yearly, tedious changes. Since this change can only be an aesthetic one, we promise the girls will look just as adorable in white.

On July 17, 2014, Eric Garner died in the Tompkinsville neighborhood of Staten Island, New York, after a police officer put him in an apparent choke hold for allegedly selling untaxed Cigarettes and the Murder was on video. The Grand Jury who heard the case failed to indict Daniel Pantaleo because District Attorney Daniel Donavan thought Pantaleo was doing what he was trained. Daniel murdered Eric Garner and District Attorney Daniel Donavan knows it.
