The Mountains and ridges of our state are important not just ecologically, but for providing clean drinking water and some of the best scenery in the country. It is important that they be protected.

My name is Demetrius DeBaise, and for the last five years I have worked as a baggage handler at Newark International. Every day I lift overweight bags for hours on end for just $8.25 an hour. The stress of trying to provide for my family on so little income has nearly broken me. And now, Governor Chris Christie and his cronies in the Port Authority just blocked my raise. This week the director of the NY/NJ Port Authority ordered raises for low-wage workers like me at JFK and LaGuardia airports. But Newark workers were left out. The reason? Chris Christie and his top person at the Port Authority refused to go along. Christie’s cronies at the Port Authority punished an entire town by closing down bridge lanes. Now they are bullying me and my co-workers to protect the profits of major airlines. Punishing working people while protecting the powerful is classic Chris Christie. This isn’t even the first time Governor Christie has tried to stop me from getting a raise. Last year he actually vetoed a minimum wage increase for New Jersey workers. We want a wage that lets us pay the bills and support our families, and it’s not fair that we may be denied the raise other workers over the Hudson will get just because we’re unlucky enough to have Chris Christie as our Governor.

Currently the Reflective Insulation Manufacturers in the US are subject to a series of suits by a Patent Troll company. My company and my supplier as well as all the major companies are named in these suits. The patent troll company has no interest in insulation, do not make or market any insulation. Their only goal is to hold the industry hostage to collect money.

Judge dismissed evidence of cop hire to shoot me and 13 yr old child drugged and locked up for mother to receive statements not because the child was in trouble, Judge removed evidence from file. court presented false transcripts. our Courts are suppose to be at a higher standard then the countries we bomb for these same acts of terrorism

My daughter Jasmine Wharton age two fights for her life every day because she wasn't screened for this disease because it is NOT on the Newborn screening in Michigan. Even if a baby had it they would detect it early and do a cbt (cord vlood transplant or a bmt (bone marrow transplant) showing very good results to those that are dected early enough to recieve treatment. For far to long the people of the New York, The United States and the world have been used as a pawn in a global power game played by both the Corp 1% and and our governments. it is time for the people to stand up and fight back enough is enough. I have no significant debt and our family owns our house free of mortgage. I think that it is only fair for our citizens to0 be relieved of more pain and to start to be happy again. This was a blood bath and the blood is in everybody's hands. At the very least, the private debt o0f every family with an income below 50K should be reset to zero.

Currently, only five U.S. states have official State Muffins: Massachusetts (corn muffin), Minnesota (blueberry muffin), New York (apple muffin), Virginia (blueberry muffin), and Wisconsin (cranberry muffin). We would like to add the State Muffin to our current list of State Foods, along with the GoldRush Apple and Popcorn. We also would like to add the State Muffin soon, before another state uses the Lemon Poppyseed Muffin before we do.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. Our professional, National recognition is poor: how often do you hear Social Workers praised by the media or politicians, compared to Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Nurses, or Teachers? We are not just case managers. Many Social Workers have graduate school education and training, plus State Licensing, that permits us to engage Children, Adolescents, Families and Adults in Therapy. We work hard, are often exposed to secondary traumas and physical harm, and like many other professionals, we have increasing productivity targets and top-down pressures to perform, BUT for low-incomes, compared to Teachers, Nurses, Fire Fighters and Police personnel. Altruism and Compassion are necessary moral foundations for Social Work. But together, they do not our pay rent, utility bills, student loans, nor increase according to actual cost-of-living expenses. Social Workers deserve better National recognition, respect, and higher pay.

There is so much, violence in our community and the youth are being steered in the wrong direction. and they need strong mentors and people that care. to support them and help them make wise decisions.

Justice should be served on the responsible party(s) involved. the state took her from me for no apparent reason for her "safety" now she is dead. she did not get a chance at life. my daughter did not deserve to be harmed! she was suppise to be "protected" !! JUSTICE!!
