Remove Mason from World of WarcraftWe are the players of the Wyrmrest Accord Server. There is a player named Mason who is a constant nuisance and we are tired of being ignored. We want him banned from the game for good. He's been given plenty of temporary bans, but he's never ceased his behavior.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jennifer M

Prioritize legislation that provides stricter controls on gun trafficking: Remembering TyseanOn November 6th 2013, 15 year-old Tysean Williams was shot multiple times by two armed men shortly after coming to his grandmother's aide in his home in Rochester, New York. As a result, Tysean died from his injuries a short while later despite being rushed to hospital. These assailants were armed with guns they likely obtained illegally. He was an honor roll student in his sophmore year of high school. He was also a neighbor that grew up with my brothers and was like another brother to me. He was a quiet, bright young man with his whole future ahead of him but his life was cut short as a result of preventable gun violence. Stronger gun trafficking laws need to be enforced! It's important to let our elected officials know where we stand on this issue because too many of our youth are dying as a result. We need to figure out what WE can we do to stop this alarming trend. -Sign this petition and share it with your family & friends -Reaching out to your local & state legislators and representatives -Come together as a community and organize rallies and round table discussions to discuss how to stop the violence in the community and how to get illegally obtained weapons off the street -Encourage & advocate partnership between community businesses and organizations and local schools; better education is a key piece of the puzzle -Speak out about the need for improved community involvement whether it be block by block or neighborhood by neighborhood. Maybe this can be done neighborhood watch initiatives, neighborhood clean-up programs, adopt-a-block programs, weapon drop off events or larger scale initiatives such as the creation of a city-wide anti-violence coalition Let's start caring about each other and our youth. We can change the outcome but we need to see ourselves as the solution! LA County Board of Supervisors: Increase Public SafetyIn the two years since the implementation of the Public Safety Realignment Act (AB 109) the LA County Board of Supervisors (BOS) has failed to enact justice policies that are rooted in evidence-based practices and that provide cost-effective ways of improving public safety. We are therefore placing the BOS “on probation” until they have enacted policies that include rehabilitation funding, full budget transparency, and alternatives to incarceration including pre-trial release. For details supporting this petition go to: http://www.laprogressive.com/la-county-board-supervisors-mismanaging-realignment/11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sharon Kyle

Stop the Tea Party from Destroying EducationOur future depends on giving all our kids a chance, not robbing them of opportunity. Yet Republicans in Congress are proposing to cut $6.9 billion from our schools and our teachers in the next year, affecting over 6 million kids here in California and across the country.386 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Patrick Stelmach

Help our Campaign to alert the world regarding radiation from JapanIn Governor Brown's first term he was against building more Nuclear Power Plants. I was active in that campaign with many other young mothers. If plant construction had not been stopped, we could have been confronting this disaster locally.49 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Suzanne Lindsey

Speaker Boehner, Let The House Vote on Employment Nondiscrimination! My name is Brad and I live in Seattle, Washington. Here in Washington State we have laws that protect Lesbian, Gay, Bi, and Transgender people from workplace discrimination. However, In 29 other states, including my home state of Tennessee, people are fired everyday simply because of how they identify or who they love. The Employment Nondiscrimination Act of 2013 has passed the Senate with bi-partisan support (including the support of 10 Republican Senators), and is ready for a vote in the House of Representatives. That's where you come in! Not every bill actually makes it to the floor of the House of Representatives. In fact, many bills die because the Speaker of the House, John Boehner refuses to let them have a vote. But with your help, we can put pressure on Speaker Boehner to ask that this bill gets a vote. Please stand with me and millions of other Americans in asking Speaker Boehner to bring House Bill H.R. 1755, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, to the floor for a vote today!7,743 of 8,000 SignaturesCreated by Bradley Delaney

Washington State GOP U.S Reps: Protect LGBT Workers. Pass The Employment Non-Discrimination Act NOW!My name is Brad and I live in Seattle, Washington. Here in Washington State we have laws that protect Lesbian, Gay, Bi, and Transgender people from workplace discrimination. However, In 29 other states, including my home state of Tennessee, people are fired everyday simply because of how they identify or who they love. In Congress the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) has been proposed every year since 2007, but for nearly 7 years now Congress has failed to act. It’s time to put an end to workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The Employment Nondiscrimination Act of 2013 has passed the Senate with bi-partisan support, including the support of 10 Republican Senators. That's where you come in! Not every bill actually makes it to the floor of the House of Representatives. In fact, many bills die in committee because the Speaker of the House refuses to let them have a vote. But with your help, we can put pressure on our Washington State Representatives to ask that this bill be brought to a vote. It's what we believe is the right thing for Washington State, it's the right thing for our country, and our representatives should express their support in Congress. Please stand with me and millions of LGBT Americans in asking the Washington State GOP Congressional Delegation to support House Bill H.R. 1755, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act today!1,313 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Bradley Delaney

Stop Donating to Salvation ArmyMy petition is that my beliefs in donations should not be made in the public eye but in privet as the bible says in Matthew 6:1-4 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bronson

Shelters For The Disabled in NYCAs a homeless disabled victim of abuse, I am living proof that the disabled community's most basic needs such as shelter and safety are being ignored to the point of neglect and abuse. I am heartened by Mayor deBlasio's campaign promises to address income inequality in our city, which is why I felt compelled to start this petition to see a change in how revenue is invested so that the least fortunate are treated with a modicum of dignity.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shannon Nelson

Immigration Reform Now!!In our mid-western town we have a large number of Hispanics. Our local United Methodist Church has sponsored a Hispanic Church for many years. About 5 years ago we brought a Hispanic minister and his whole congregation under our auspices and they all joined the United Methodist Church. The Hispanic minister has been in the US for over 10 years and has been a very positive influence in the community. Recently the United Methodist Conference of our state discovered he does not have a green card even though he has been trying to get one for 10 years. Now the Church feels they can no longer support him nor let his family live in the parsonage. For persons like this we need IMMIGRATION REFORM NOW!!!75 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eleanor Pershing
