• Preserve the Pioneers of the Wild West
We are destroying the spirit of America at a rigorous and barbarous pace. The wild mustangs are protected under the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971, and yet this is being illegally overridden right before our eyes. The roundups must be stopped, for these horses are being inhumanely treated in BLM holding corrals when they should be roaming their homelands, free.

  • Two-Year Window for Sex Abuse Victims
Sex abuse victims deserve their day in court but the laws here in PA strongly favor the perpetrator. Statistics show that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are victims of sexual abuse. There is legislation currently in front of the Pennsylvania legislature (House and Senate) which would suspend the statute of limitations for sexual abuse, but leadership is not allowing the bills to run. Unfortunately the statute of limitations for many victims of past abuse expired only a few years after they turned 18. The current law gives a victim 12 years past their 18th birthday to expose their perpetrator but this still in most cases is not enough time. Most victims struggle with their abuse until they are 40, 50, 60 some even older. Many states have realized the seriousness of this matter and how difficult it is to come forward and have completely eliminated the statute as it relates to sexual abuse just like there is no statute for murder. California, Delaware, Hawaii and Minnesota have all opened up Two-Year Window bills and exposed thousands of perpetrators and helped keep thousands more children safe. Help us protect future generations of children by identifying perpetrators still roaming our streets.

  • Support for the Safe Schools Improvement Act of 2013-S.403
Currently, there are no federal laws or legislation that directly addresses bullying or anti-bullying prevention programs in our nation's schools. Federal bullying prevention legislation has not received enough support in the past to be passed by Congress. In February 2013, the Safe Schools Improvement Act of 2013 (S.403) was introduced into the Senate for consideration but, has continued to remain stagnant. This is the time to act and voice our concerns to get the Safe Schools Improvement Act (S.403) passed! All children are entitled to have a safe and nurturing environment in their schools where the opportunity for learning and growth is fostered. Too many suicides have been committed among children of all ages due to the detrimental effects of bullying! Take a stand and let your senators know why passing this legislation is so important. Our children's' safety is in our hands and we must get this legislation passed because children are also the future of this country. www.facebook.com/sayyestoS403

  • Raise the Minimum Wage in N.C. to $9.00 an hour!
According to N.C. Justice Center: "Raising the minimum wage to $9.00 by 2015 would affect approximately 693,000 workers in North Carolina. More than 80 percent of these workers are over 20 years of age, and almost half of those who would be directly affected work full-time." The article also pointed out that this "raise" would be spent immediately on food and other necessities thereby helping the state economy. Our state needs help.

To help support Veterans and First Responders and others in need of additional administrative support to be successful in their entrepreneurial endeavors especially socially responsible non-profits that benefit communities. Mission: To assist individuals with ADHD, especially veterans and first responders with ADHD[1], to identify their respective conditions, assist them in obtaining treatment, and empower them to implement personalized plans for success. To help organizations minimize disruption from staff and client ADHD (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) Vision: We will be the most comprehensive program to assist all who suffer from ADHD, especially Veterans and first responders. We will work with them and their families, friends and employers to improve quality of life, productivity, and confidence. We provide individuals with a sense of dignity, restore confidence and help build a strong community as individuals begin and continue treatment to achieve their full potential. Issue: ADHD and undiagnosed ADHD have reached epidemic proportions for families and employers in the US2. The estimated economic impact was a negative $31.6 billion annually3. It is estimated that 62 percent of veterans4 and first responders suffer from ADHD, and according to NIH,5 go undiagnosed6. • Wolves Belong
The states that do allow wolf hunting (MN.,WI.,MT.,ID.,WY.,) have decimated the populations that once were there. It is out of HATE that these states allow the hunting of wolves. It is NOT based out of science.

  • Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein: Co-sponsor the Strengthening Social Security Act of 2013
Millions of Americans depend on Social Security. We need all Democratic Senators co-sponsoring this bill by Senator Tom Harkin because there is no valid reason to cut the meager benefits and this bill provides commonsense ways to expand and strengthen the program ensuring it for future generations.

  • Haverhill NH School Board: Time for Change, Remove John Rutherford
A board member may not be removed from office except as provided in RSA 32:12 and RSA 42:1-a. 42:1-a Manner Of Dismissal: I. The manner of dismissing a town officer who violates the oath as set forth in RSA 42:1 shall be by petition to the superior court for the county in which the town is located. 42:1 Oath Required: Every town officer shall make and subscribe the oath or declaration as prescribed by part 2, article 84 of the constitution of New Hampshire and any such person who violates said oath after taking the same shall be forthwith dismissed from the office involved. Article 84, part 2: I, A.B. do solemnly and sincerely swear and affirm that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties incumbent on me as ................................................., according to the best of my abilities, agreeably to the rules and regulations of this constitution and laws of the state of New Hampshire. So help me God. In Article 84 part 2 of the NH State Constitution, the Oath of Civil Officers, states that they will "faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties" of their office. On multiple occasions, Mr. John Rutherford has not performed his duties impartially, nor to the best of his abilities, in the best interest of the school or community. The largest of these being: 1. Voting to remove legal counsel without proper council set to replace them, thereby leaving the school and community legally vulnerable. 2. Not giving proper notice to the SAU Board Members of how legal counsel responded on the correct way to calculate a weighted vote when this was received well in advance of the vote. 3. When faced with proper interpretation of the weighted vote by the SAU Attorney, Mr. John Rutherford said the burden was on the other boards to bring legal suit against the Haverhill Board, rather than accepting fault. Thereby being willing to place the district in a legal battle with our other SAU Boards. 4. Continued meetings outside of the scheduled School Board Meetings with other School Board members, thereby disenfranchising other Board Members and community members from hearing discussions, which is clearly against Board rules and a breach of ethical conduct. I, the undersigned, believe this clearly shows a series of events where Mr. John Rutherford has NOT faithfully and impartially discharged and perform all duties which go in the best interest and wishes of the community he was voted to represent and should be removed from office forthwith. • Mini urban farms in city parks
The food desert in inner cities would be eliminated, recreaction for children and adults in urban areas could much enhanced by exposure to growing of fruits, vegetables and greens that are currently only seen as packaged food in grocery stores. The City Park and Recreation Department needs to change its focus from traditional lawn, play area maintainence, to stimulating the minds of young children, by exposing them to growing the food they eat. This would be a wonderful activity for those who would love to garden but have no access to land.
