This year the MCPS transportation department made massive changes to bus routes and staff in order to save money. Bus drivers are expected to carry 3 times the amount of stundents they previously carried and expected to make it across town in a a third of the time. The buses are extremely overcrowded and children forced to sit 3 sometimes 4 to a seat and many children have suffered minor injuries from falling during bus turns. Although MANY parents and students have complained no changes or adjustments have been made to ensure the safety of the children. Please help us make a change and restore the old bus times,schedules, routes, bus drivers and put the safety of the children FIRST.

Mansfield, MA Animal Control Officer Jeff Collins is killing pit bulls due to his personal bias and discrimination, along with numerous cats and other breeds of dogs. PLEASE HELP US MAKE THIS STOP!!! This man doesn't deserve this job, nor to be judge jury and executioner in behavior based euthanasia when he self admittedly doesn't understand nor is aptly educated in canine behavior. Animals are dying! WE DEMAND CHANGE! Rocco the blue nosed pit bull was killed in December 2012, Carmella the pit bull in August 2013, and now Oscar the pit bull in October 2013, with other's in between and more in danger! No animal is safe in this town until he has been removed!

It is a matter of justice. All members of the House and Congress should not get special privileges when there is a government shutdown. Now is the time that Texas representatives can literally put their money where there mouth is and show that they are able to stand along side federal workers who will not receive the paychecks they depend on to pay their bills and support their families.

A true conservative spends $50 on prenatal vitamins instead of $50,000 on postnatal ICU care, $5 for a vaccine instead of $1000 for an emergency room visit. Republicans are the bane of America, seeking to keep the 99% down, uneducated, unable to vote, and without healthcare, even at the cost of wrecking the economy again. It's time they left office completely, and were replaced by real Americans with real American family values.

I have been in chronic pain for over 30 years. I, and many, many others are finding our pain medication choices and prescription decisions being driven by the DEA's changing rules. The "war on drugs" is now being taken out on those who live in chronic pain. The decision of what drugs, how many, for how long, what strength, etc should be between patient and doctor, not patient, doctor, and the DEA.

Gov. Susana Martinez used a State Police helicopter to fly to Albuquerque so she could catch a commercial flight to Houston for political fundraisers. Even though she promised not to use state aircraft for personal purposes, she took a State Police helicopter away from law enforcement duties to be her personal air taxi. It took about an hour to fly Martinez to Albuquerque, then return to Santa Fe. The hourly operating cost of the helicopter is about $800.

Prescription drug prices in America are the highest in the world. Congress could cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare spending without touching the benefits that seniors receive. Let's reform Medicare Part D and save Medicare for our seniors.

From the moment Mr. Obama was elected, McMorris Rodgers has played an active role in the Republican agenda of obstructing the President over helping the people of her district. By being an outspoken leader in the charge to shutdown the government, McMorris Rodgers has demonstrated she does not understand how the law works and is therefore unfit to represent us in The House of Representatives.

Yahoo Mail and or e-mail is a major part of life. There is a reason why I choose to use the Yahoo system versus others that have a similar version of the new layout. The 10/8/13 layout is not user friendly, and the users of Yahoo want to see a return to the previous system.

Lamar's recent disbarment ruled by the unanimous decision of the Georgia Supreme Court demonstrates his character - rather LACK thereof!!! He has lost the public's trust, failing to be a leader with integrity. Lamar has taken advantage of trusting innocent people and has continued to break the law to get his way--whether its creating a fake non profit so he could steal college scholarship money from students or stealing a $30,000 settlement from his client, an injured child.
