  • WGBH Boston - Air the documentary "Citizen Koch"
    "Citizen Koch" was pulled from a national public television broadcast out of fear of upsetting David Koch, who has been a major donor to public television. Public television stations are there to serve the public not billionaires and not only do we deserve to see this important documentary, we need to see it in order to stay informed. Will you join the call for a national broadcast of "Citizen Koch" on Independent Lens?

  • Don't compromise your standards and stated mission!!
    I know that Kock's funding is important to PBS it but what use is it if it forces you to compromise the mission of objective journalism? The public needs to see ALL information even if it is not favourable to Koch! The Koch money is corrupting this country's politics - don't let it corrupt our source for open and fair journalism!!

    Billionaires Charles and David Koch offer nothing for free. If David donates money to OPB it is because in doing so, he has a definite Extreme Conservative Right Wing Agenda. OPB already is showing signs of right leaning programming. This is intolerable.

    Please call for the national airing of "Citizen Koch", the documentary that national pbs stations pulled for fear of upsetting the billionaire donor that it headlines. PBSs aim for airing the documentaries and such that are edgy and tell the truth rather than whitewashing and burying the stories, as regular broadcasters do and I, for one, want to see this important piece.
