• Protect whistle-blowers like Edward Snowden
On Sunday, 29-year-old Edward Snowden outed himself as the person who informed the public that our government is spying on us and lying to us. Edward Snowden revealed the elements of a crime. That makes him a whistle-blower, and he deserves our full support. Mr. Snowden revealed limited information to corroborate his allegations, without revealing details regarding a specific operation. He exposed criminal misconduct. Whistle-blowers with Mr. Snowden's courage must be fully protected -- not prosecuted. Tell Congress and President Obama to protect whistle-blowers.

  • Chem Trails
Constantly see jets chemtrailing in the skies over Chicago , need a explanation as to what is the purpose of chemtrailing, who approved it, who does it, and have all the health and environmental ramifications been studied before chemtrailing commenced. Was chemtrailing approved by elected officials in Washington and the Governor and State Legislature of Illinois after they had understood the purpose and fully understood all health and environmental ramifications.

  • Save Our Schools!
Philadelphia's schools have been under attack for a long time, but now they're just firing people for the fun of it and to send a threatening message to our unions, students, and parents. I was released today, along with a ton of the people that make our schools work. Tell Pennsylvania representatives that we need funding to survive!

  • To urgently take action against neglect and cruelty to animals in Puerto Rico
The violence and neglect of animals in Puerto Rico is something incredible. The poor animals, especially dogs and cats, but often also happens with other pets that are abused in different ways. The most commonly seen abuse is the neglect and physical, failure to provide vaccines and medical care when they are sick. Every day you see hundreds and hundreds of dogs and cats that have been abandoned in the streets of the island. Wherever you go, no matter if the country or the cities, even the capital city, dogs and cats can be found beaten, sick and malnourished - some skeletal or dead and killed due to the fact that some people prefer to kill them on the roads with their cars than to stop their automobiles to give allow them to cross the roads. With the correlation between animal abuse and crime and psicopatic / antisocial behavior, I ask you to please sign this petition and to help against animal abuse, since if animal abuse is controlled, eventually crime and abuse towards people also will go down. Please sign this petition so we can bring hope to the animals that need it most as well as to the residents of Puerto Rico of living in a healthier and safer island.

  • Give us a break CPP!
My petition is about the Cleveland Public Power electric company and how they do not help people that live in lower income residence by putting them on payment plans according to their income (if any) or the fact that they do not work with the H.E.A.P. program. The company makes their own payment plans and expect for the residents to pay the cost, whatever it is and without taking into consideration that they may not be able to afford the amount they have been given. For example, someone has an income of $124 a month and their payment plan was $102! So, that meant they had to live off of what was left-how ridiculous is that?

  • Repeal the Second Amendment
The second amendment is not being enforced as was it's intention-- an organized militia". It was never intended to allow individual gun ownership. It was written over 200 years ago when a rifle could fire one bullet and took several minutes to reload.

  • School should not be the gateway to jail.
Stop sending children to the juvenile justice system for non violent offenses. A child should not be arrested for doodling on a desk, for being disruptive in class, or any other non violent offense. Bring back detention, 1,000 sentences, etc. but stop throwing the children in jail!

  • Right to hold Early Elections
People should be able to hold early elections to suspend an elected official term when he or she are not working for the people in their district. We are all affected by dysfunctional government we have in place and all of us should be able to end their term when they are not working and being destructive. We would be fired if we don't do our job so should they.

  • Massachusetts: Label GMOs
The Food and Drug Administration does not require safety testing of new genetically modified foods (“GMOs”), instead relying on corporations' profits from the sale of such foods to ensure their safety for us. Contrary to industry claims, GMO foods have not been proven safe, and a growing body of independent, peer-reviewed studies have linked the consumption of GMO foods to allergies, infertility, immune problems, gastrointestinal disruption, cancer, and a host of other diseases. GMO crops can easily contaminate non-GMO crops, threatening organic agriculture, and their use is linked to increases in toxic pesticide use and the emergence of “superweeds.” Further, the absence of labeling of GMO foods and seeds prohibits those with specific ethical or religious practices from making informed food choices. More than 60 other countries around the world inform their citizens if their food is genetically engineered, and national polls consistently show that more than 90% of Americans want to share this same basic human right. GMO labeling legislation has been introduced in over 25 states, and on June 3, 2013, Connecticut passed a GMO labeling law - the first in the nation. But, it requires at least four other states to adopt similar legislation before it goes into effect. One state must border Connecticut. Massachusetts now has the opportunity to help protect the transparency, integrity, and democracy of our food supply for all Americans.

  • Georgia wants its Right Whale living, not dead
The Navy will use deadly sonar for over 20 years in the only place the right whale has to birth its young. Stop the extinction of the world's most endangered whale. Like us, it is one of God's creatures. Humans cause their destruction, yet humans can and must save them.

  • Transparent and accountable judicial system
The judicial system serves and protects its own interests and not the interests of citizens of the States. The courts establish self policing that does not work because it protects biased and prejudice judges even if they are not professionally qualified to sit on the bench. The judges do not want to be accountable to anyone even they are part of one of the branches of the government and constitution provides checks and balances for all branches. The life time tenure already afford judges great protection, but it does not give them a right to be above the law and conduct themselves like they can do whatever they want without any responsibility.
