My sister and many of my close friends are gay/lesbian and they deserve all the rights and privileges of marriage. Their children deserve to have their parents be married and seen as equal citizens under the law. It is a matter of full civil rights for all.

Mental illness. Many people suffer mental illness sometime during their lives. It strikes us when we are our most vulnerable after tradegy strikes. Soon life gets better and there is light at the end of the tunnel of darkness. For people with mental disease, it never goes away. As children we are afflicted. It lingers. Waits. Challenges productivity. Interferes with social interaction. Makes us vicitms of spousal Abuse. Robs us of everyday life. Whether a mentally challenged victim of war with PSTD or stressed from chronic compulsive disorders, born with autism, or suffer from severe chronic depression or bipolar disorder. So many of us struggle to be functional in everyday life and that stress makes everyday challenges ten-fold harder to accept, work out, live thru. It becomes so exhausting and unendurable many choose self-inflicted suicide or as seen in many recent incidents, seek violence as their last stand. Please join me in my meager attempt to explain, describe the need and request your actions to improve MENTAL AWARENESS &MEDICATIONS MONITORING to end the cycle of self abuse, loss of so many brave soldiers, loss of youths that could've been our next Einsteins, struggling people whose only handicap was to be born chemically unbalanced in the brain. Please help me by signing this petition to inform candidates, Congressmen, Senators, School Officials, Police Officers and the President the urgent need to push for legislation to better empower people with these disabilities. Please help me. I hear of people who cannot afford their medicines so they purposely perpetrate crimes to be convicted, housed, jailed and receive their medications. In jails, their families can better received aide and afford food. Many go throughout life abusing their wives or children without medications. Everyday some youth kills herself due to mental illness because they just can't stand to face another day. Some are more violent and try to take others with them. I have met so many mentally challenged people and they all require medications and good nutrients to better cope with their disabilities. Please an Executive Order to make easier access for affordable care and easier access to affordable medications.

This is not a third world country. We are suppose to be fair and civilized society. What in the world has happened to this once great nation! These people deserve a fair trial NOW!!

When the Benghazi tragedy occurred, during this previous fall, the GOP nominee made a public statement, despite his not representing the United States in any official capacity, denigrating the manner in which the events were handled. Recently, ABC News ran an exposé attempting to reinforce these same "talking points," and the GOP has consistently pursued a line of questioning, to personally make our President appear as though he was engaged in some cover-up. However, the ABC reporter, who claimed he saw those specific emails, did NOT, and furthermore, upon release by the President of emails related to this incident, the GOP changed and altered those emails highlighting those specific talking points in order to reflect negatively on our current President. Altering official governmental documents, in my estimation is worthy of an investigation by Darrell Issa and his committee. Of specific interest are the following: (1) Why did then GOP nominee Mitt Romney make a public statement denigrating the character of our current president only to make further disparaging comments accusing our president of mishandling the affairs, when all testimony points in another direction. (2) Why did the ABC News Reporter, who provided the main commentary for their expose on Benghazi, say he looked at the emails in question, only to find out later that he did not and placed the email content in his own words to fit his narrative? (3) Why is it that the GOP claims they are "outraged" over the loss of four American lives, but when holding these hearings, they have not addressed one single process issue which WAS responsible and articulated by the ARB (Accountability Review Board), while going on a "witch-hunt" trying to continue the false narrative that this President engaged in a cover-up. (4) Who was the ABC reporter's "source." Perhaps, this is the greatest issue, because once a source is deemed to be a liar, then it is incumbent upon all to find out who that source was. That is, they should not be protected by the protections afforded other integrity filled journalists.

I have lived in chronic pain and had PTSD and social anxiety for all of my adult life,starting at age 16 and I am 39 now. Had to self Medicate with cannabis for many years!! But after 6 lower back surgeries I have to go to a pain management center and after my psychological doctors company closed their doors I have to get that medication from my PCP. With all the new laws (which I agree with shutting the pill mills down) I have to take a UA regularly and if I come up positive,then they can no longer give me my medications,which is harming my body!!!! With something as natural as cannabis that treats any things and illnesses,is being kelp illegal in Kentucky because the Big Businesses are making to much money that tax payers have to pay!!! With the revenue that Medical Marijuana would generate would do away with our states deficit and and end the taxpayers part as well as the people that have chronic illnesses would get relief and be able to live comfortable without having to take a regiment of medicine that is harming them and having worry about losing their jobs if do consume cannabis. Many states are saying yes to medical cannabis and no to big business,why don't Kentucky do the same?????
