In 2005, Michael Weaver was charged with sexually abusing 4 of my children and was convicted for 2 counts. My 4th child was so young there was no way to get her to tell us. Since that time, I have fought against false charges from CPS that were dismissed. CPS workers put my little girl in the home of the pedophile’s parents, and the court moved the case jurisdiction to Galveston County. I have been fighting for my daughter to come home. Thanks to a loophole in court orders relating to my divorce from Michael, joint custody was granted to his parents. This convicted pedophile now has far more access to my daughter than I do. He visits her daily. His parents see no reason to stop it from happening. She has told me she is alone with him sometimes but since I have no proof, my hands are tied. The pedophile’s parents still have my little girl. They have stated under oath they believe he is only “technically” guilty, meaning they don’t believe my children's testimony, nor the court’s judgement. They have told me off the record they believe he is innocent. Please – sign my petition to bring my daughter back home with myself and her siblings, where she belongs and where she will be safe.

More and more you hear about political action groups (PAC) and super political action groups (SUPERPAC) as well as big businesses such as AT&T and others buying votes via and through campaign contributions. This is NOT in the best interest of the American citizens at large.

At any point, the North Carolina State Senate could consider H.B. 937 - legislation that would allow for guns on university and community college campuses, at assemblies where admission is charged (like stadiums and concert halls), parks, restaurants, and bars.  The House has already passed this outrageous bill and we must stop it in the Senate. This legislation is part of the gun lobby's playbook of pushing guns into every public space they can.  We need to send a message to State Senate President Berger and the Senate that guns don't belong on our college campuses or places like parks, restaurants, and bars. The University of North Carolina System, along with the League of Municipalities and others all oppose this legislation.

My petition is about a do nothing Congress.In any other line of work in the so called "free market syetem",if you don't produce you don't get paid or you get fired.Since Congress can't seem to get anything accomplished to move the country forward I believe the same standard should apply.Get some beneficial legislation passed for the country or don't get paid.The system is broken.Fire them all.

We have what is called RR1 corn and soy being planted in our fields. For those of you who don't know about these Monsanto patented seeds, they contain the same substance that you see in TV ads with the home owner holding a container of Round Up and "killing" weeds for up to three months. That same substance is in every seed that is purchased from Monsanto by our farmers. I do not want to be ingesting Round Up soy or corn and avoid any product that contains soy or corn on the label . There is RR1 soy in Similac, a baby formula. Do you really want your children, your grandchildren having this poison put in their food. The FDA has no idea what long term lasting health issues may arise from ingesting these foods stuffs day after day, year after year. Congress and the White House for once has got to put the American People above the Monsanto Corporation and Stop the planting of these insidious seeds.

We need to stop the corruption in gov't politics. One of the easiest and quickest ways to help deter the corruption is to set term limits of 2 terms for any of the positions. Remember there is a reason the president of the U.S. has only 2 terms. It is to stop total control and corruption.

Over 90% of all Americans are unfairly taxed on 100% of their income. The very wealthy often pay 1% or less. FICA caps out at $113,700 annual income. If the wealthy were taxed like the rest of us, Social Security would be solvent.

The Conservancy believes that active involvement in the wild lands around which we live enriches all of us and the communities in which we live.

Michael Blea and Nick Blea have been together for almosot a year and they truly do care for eachother. Ive never seen the most perfect couple until now. Nicks mother won't let them see eachother cause she doestn like Michael or the fact that her son is gay. I believe they should be able to see eachother.

The United States of America is a nation of people that as a whole understands the socio-economic value in guaranteeing people's rights in the workplace. Many laws and agencies have been established to safeguard these rights. However, I suspect the average working American does not know how to exercise these rights in order to protect themselves from their employers. I believe that we are living challenging economic times where employer abuse (whether it is verbal harassment, wage theft, or illegal discrimination) has become so rampant that it is imperative for individuals to understand what they can do benefit from the laws that protect them. My aim of this petition will be to measure my audience knowledge in this area and identify areas of need in order to make an educate recommendation for legislative changes.

FEMA plans clear-cutting 85,000 Berkeley and Oakland trees with no plan to replant. They intend to pour hundreds of gallons of toxic herbicides such as "Round-Up" to prevent re-sprouting and recover a portion with several feet of wood chips.
