85 acres of wetlands, off Prosperity Road in Virginia Beach, VA, are in jeopardy of being sold for development. No research concerning the impact of the project has been done by the city or state. We are looking for the city of Virginia Beach to fully understand the cost and ramifications of this project prior to the city selling the land rights to developers.

After months of dragging government personnel before the house select committee and implying that there has been a gross miscarriage of justice, CBS broke the story that key emails regarding Benghazi were falsified. The House, specifically Darrell Issa, has wasted millions of tax-payer dollars on this investigation. With the news from CBS it is obvious that this has been an effort to discredit, with inside help, on a monumental scale. It's time to call these politicians to accounts. Someone besides the perpetrator knew about the falsification and someone needs to be held accountable.

Military retirees should be very concerned about the recent increase in Tricare Prime annual fees. We are hearing that there is a planned 700% increase in the annual fee cost coming in the next few years, pricing retirees and their families out of the system, for the sole effort of forcing retired members onto OBAMACARE.

A 501(C)(4) is supposed to be for “civic leagues or organizations not organized for profit but operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare.” Note the word “exclusively.” If the organization is not 100% social welfare, it should not be exempt from taxes. Tax law exempts Section 501(c)(3) charities and Section 527 political committees from gift tax rules,but offers no such exemption to Section 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations. Political groups are flouting the law. Such groups as Sierra Club and League of Women voters do not claim such exemptions, and donations are not tax-exempt.

The Western & Southern Insurance Group, a Fortune 500 company headed by CEO John Barrett, used a lawsuit and its unlimited money to force the sale of the Anna Louise Inn that has served thousands of struggling women in Cincinnati, in order to turn the historic building into a boutique hotel. Barrett has long referred to the women, who live and receive services from the home, as "recovering prostitutes, saying they didn't belong in the neighborhood."* Barrett also said about the sale, "This truly is a win for everyone and will make Lytle Park a destination like no other." I was recently informed by the Division of Child Support Services saying that I could not get child support payments, because my kid's father gets SSI and they could not continue with the child support process based on the type of SSI benefits he’s receiving. I also can’t receive social security benefits for my kids either because there father is receiving the maximum amount of benefits, based on his lack of work history. I feel like that should not even be a law, this is preventing the father from paying child support, which is just morally WRONG!!!! The government system is really messed up on SO many levels, but this one hits home for me and yes this is affecting me personally. With the help and support of other I'm hoping I can get the results I want. Thank You.

The Supreme Court allowing political contributions without revealing who they are.

Land developers have been eager to get their hands on a piece of property that has been largely undeveloped for years. The reason for its undeveloped state is that it is one of the very few wetlands still in existence in California today. This tiny parcel serves as one of the only save havens for an entire ecosystem of birds, animals, reptiles, and the like for miles around. Please do not let them build yet another office building space that will sit vacant like all of the others in the near vicinity. Please speak on behalf of the animals and the environment! Save our wetlands!

I am about to turn 59 and have been out of school for over 20 years; yet, during that time, my student loan debt has nearly DOUBLED, from $56,000 to over $100,000. I have made both voluntary and involuntary payments over the course of two decades. I lost my job two years ago, and have only a very low-paying, part-time job. I have no assets. There are particular jobs I can't even apply for because of my student loan debt. A bankruptcy "reform" act passed by Congress in 1998 removed any realistic possibility of getting this loan discharged or forgiven via federal bankruptcy courts. Am I to have my Social Security checks garnished as well? Student loan debts existing 14 or more years after graduation should be forgiven.
