• Fracking In California
Congress has opened public lands for fracking in earthquake prone California. This dangerous practice also wastes millions of gallons of our precious water in the process and pollutes aquifers with chemicals. The harm is irreprable and must be stopped before it is allowed to happen.

  • Governor Quinn: Please protect Illinois from fracking until better determinations are made about...
Water resources are becoming ever more precious. We need to protect ours from those that would over use water in such questionable processes like fracking which could well become a serious danger to our environment.

  • Governor Abercrombie: Prohibit Wheel Booting
We were victimized by a boot company on March 30, 2013. We paid the required $4.00 parking fee but were accused of lying and got booted. The payment box did not dispense a receipt so it became our word against theirs. We had no choice but to pay the $160 fee in cash to release our car.

  • No Fracking in California
The practice of 'fracking" , the pressurization of water mixed with chemicals to extract oil and natural gas, places our water supply and environment in great danger. Irreparable damage to our earth resources puts our lives in jeopardy.

  • Only state certified social workers should be working in child protection
It has come to my attention that many child protection agencies across the country are making major decisions about families and have only a four year degree which does not have to be in social work, psychology or child development or be state certified. Many supervisors and even directors of these said agencies are not state certified and can hold degrees in other unrelated disciplines and yet can make life or death decisions about our nation's abused children and their families. Lawmakers should ensure that state agencies employ and ensure their personnel who work with such sensitive issues are qualified by more than attending a four year program in some subject to take children from their parents or provide intervention.

  • Return our return
My tax return was affected by the mistake a tax company made with the form 8863. I filed my return January 28, 2013. It is now May 2 and I still have not received it. There should be no furlough until all the affected tax returns are filed.

  • Assembly Member Bocanegra: Protect California Communities from Fracking
Fracking poisons underground reservoirs and has been linked to an increase in the number of earthquakes. Fracking companies don't have to report what kinds of chemicals they use, so there is no oversight to determine how they affect the environment. Fracking also harms farmers, who have reported skin rashes on livestock that have drunk from wells near fracking operations.
