State licensed clinical counselors with Masters and Doctorate degrees in Counseling and related fields have been blocked from providing quality and affordable counseling to seniors. Some counselors have been seeing Medicare clients under the supervision of a psychiatrist. Social workers and psychologists do not have such restrictions.

This sequestration is already wreaking havoc at the most vulnerable in our society, the poor, the elderly, and children.

People have the right to know what the ingredients are, and what the nutritional content is in bottled alcoholic beverages. Right now, there are almost no requirements as to what is labeled on alcoholic beverages that are sold in retail stores.

Mopeds and such should have to be licensed as cars do. The drivers should have to put license plates and insurance on them, and have a valid drivers license! We as automobile owners have these requirements, and they should be no different! It should also be made illegal for them to drive in the center of the lane. They should have to drive on the side or the lane, and yield to autos/trucks. The state needs money, and this would also bring up our revenue. By requiring the same for mopeds and other motorized vehicles. Motorcycles require the same so why not the mopeds?? Also, the state takes a drivers license from a drunk driver, or other reason, so they lose their means of transportation. BUT, then they can go get a MOPED and drive it! How much sense does this make? Let's give the drunk drivers the "OK" to ride around on these little mopeds, with no license, no insurance, no license plates, and if they cause an accident, most likely the driver that is legal, has paid insurance, license plates, and holds a valid drivers license will be at fault. Come on ....please....look at the seriousness of this issue! There are more and more of them on the roads. This is making it very dangerous for them and the other drivers. PLEASE give this you undivided attention! Make some new laws concerning these moped/ and like vehicles pay to ride like all the rest of us have to!! AND, keep the drunk drivers, that you take their license away, OFF the roads!

Horses are raised in this country as companion animals not for food for foreign countries. They are a huge part of how this country was founded and need to be respected as such. Not to mention our horses are given many drugs that make them unsuitable for consumption. Do these people in other countries really want to eat tainted meat.

I want to bring attention to the dangerous conditions occurring in the private prisons located here in Mississippi. I do not want any more assaults or deaths (staff or inmates) to occur here and those officials who have knowledge of how bad these private prisons are to be held ACCOUNTABLE (State and local officials as well as Bennie Thompson and MDOC Commissioner Christopher Epps).

We need to make sure that victims of domestic violence/ kidnapping are better served by our police force. People have laid stabbed in their home while the police knock on the door and just go away because no one answers. Girls have been held captive in homes where police have come to the door, but don't look inside, and they are never found.

Congress should never vote on their own pay/benefits package. Pay, Raises, Benefits are to be put on ballots and only the people, who elect them, decide what they are worth.
