Forced trash valet serviceIt's time for all residents of any Camden community to rise and take a stand on the unfair practice of being forced to pay $30 per month for valet trash. It was said that the residents were surveyed and overwhelmingly wanted this service. NO is what I'm hearing from residents here in Tampa and have heard the same thing for properties in Orlando too!! Let your voice be heard here and now!!! NO FORCED VALET TRASH PAYMENT PER MONTH!!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rick

Immigration reform should respect the family unit and the importance of keeping families united a...Separating family members due to immigration status would undermine the mental health, functioning and well-being of family members, and, thereby, ultimately our communities. Immigration reform should protect and preserve family unity.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karita Hummer

Patrick Mara is running for City Council, but can he walk a mile in my shoes?Patrick Mara is running to represent us in the City Council, but he just doesn't understand what life is like for hard working low-wage families. He opposes raising the minimum wage, and he even opposes paid sick days for restaurant workers. My mother was a teacher, and she was laid off during DC's education cutbacks. Then she suffered a stroke. I had to leave school, since there was no money for tuition, and I had to start working to support the family. I am working as a server at a restaurant, getting less than $3 an hour plus tips, earning around $1000 per month. They won't give me more hours. I also don't get paid sick days. When my kids get sick, I am not able to care for them, without fear of losing my job. I can't afford DC's expensive rent, and I am currently living in subsidized DC public housing. I cannot afford child care, and my late shifts don't give me any time to spend with my children. I hope to go back to school one day, but find it difficult, supporting my mother and two children. How is anyone in my situation supposed to get ahead? Patrick Mara wants to represent us on the DC City Council, but he doesn't know what families like mine are up against. Will you join me in calling on Patrick Mara to walk a mile in my shoes? I'm not endorsing anyone in the City Council election next week. But I want to make sure that whoever is elected will support the issues that make a difference for me and my family.225 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Losia Nyankale

let them see how it feelsI am sick and tired of listening to all the politicians claiming we have to cut this that or another thing when they will never feel the consequences of those cuts.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by joe pompeo

Arizona Congressional Delegation: Support immigration reformI'm a life-long Republican and fifth-generation Arizonan. Nobody wants illegal immigration to exist. But immigrating legally is too hard! People I know and love become scofflaws because the bar is too high. You can change that.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tom Haws

McCarley Gardens/Fruit Belt Community Master Plan PetitionUniversity At Buffalo's and the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus's 2020 plan is to systematically gentrify the McCarley Gardens and Fruit Belt neighborhood, not to mention imminent domain and land banking. The residents have no say in what happens to them. The tenants of McCarley Gardens face displacement due to UB's attempt to purchase the property from Oak Michigan Development Corp. (an arm of St. John Baptist Church). The city of Buffalo gave control of their properties to this Corporation in the Fruit Belt causing health problems and damage to properties as a result of the construction work. Also, the employees of the Campus are parking four blocks into the Fruit Belt, therefore leaving no parking space for the residents. They have four more building projects which means additional parking and construction issues.202 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Veronica Nichols

FAILED BY ATTRITIONReverse the foolish notion that if you make living in the US hell for undocumented and overstays, that they will 'give up' and sacrifice what our Supreme Court deemed all that makes life worth living and return to counties without hope, futures or security.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bill Bennett

No Walmart in Arvada, ColoradoThere are 4 Walmarts within 5 to 10 miles of the location where this one is proposed. One at this location is not wanted and would create traffic problems for local residents.1,956 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Gail Runkles
