Kaysville City wants us to get rid of our pigmy goats because we only have 18,600 square feet of property and the city ordinance requires 20,000 square feet to keep goats, sheep or llamas. Our goats are very friendly and they do not bother any of the neighbors, they all actually enjoy them. This needs to be stopped, the goats are a part of our family and they help us very much with our yard work, weeding.

Despite immigration reform efforts, private prison industry lobbyists have support in Congress for over $2 billion a year for massive incarceration of immigrants in private prisons. Immigrants arrested by the Border Patrol serve an average sentence of 360 days in a private prison for behaviors that weren’t considered crimes ten years ago. This is not o.k. this petition concerns two things really vital to middle class families-Social Security/Medicare and the Postal Service.

The federal government, at the initiative of the President should buy, expropriate, or acquire by any means the site of the massacre at Wounded Knee and turn it into a monument. The United States has since its inception carried out a racist Holocaust against Native Americans, broken the treaties it made, confiscated land, destroyed a culture, and herded free and ancient peoples into concentration camps called reservations where they reside to this day. These crimes against humanity are a record of shame that stains the flag and identity of the United States. Not to honor this site and create a memorial would be yet another stain.
