Say No To GMORead the facts about GMO. Then you decide if it is right or not for there NOT to be labeling of food containing GMO. If the government will not do anything to stop the utilization they should at least let people know if GMO is in a product you are considering buying.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charles

KEEP OUR MONEY $2 RULEHungry, a man used his debit card for fast food. EACH triggered a $40 overdraft fee PLUS $7 a day until the next month's check was deposited. Hospitalized with a stroke; when he got out, over $500 had been taken OUT of his next Federal check. He could not pay his bills nor his rent. Asking the bank for an adjustment, they said NO, the fees were policy. Period. STOPPING this crazy larceny means people relying on Federal monthly stipends could Keep and Spend MORE of THEIR OWN MONEY!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Edi Montijo Chapman

Hoosier Democrats, "Take Back The Indiana Statehouse".In recent weeks, the Indiana Legislature has passed Laws that require Welfare Recipients to pass Drug Tests in order to receive Benefits. This law will cost Millions to implement, makes No provision for the Children who will go hungry if a Parent fails said tests, and seeks only to target the least fortunate among us. If that isn't Outrageous enough for You, they also passed another Law that would require Women seeking an Abortion to undergo Not One, but Two invasive Vaginal Probes before getting a procedure that has been their right since 1973. This same Law puts requirements and restrictions on Planned Parenthood, that will force even their Facilities which don't offer Abortions, to have a State-of-the-Art" Surgical Facility in order to even dispense the Abortion inducing Drugs that so safely end a pregnancy in its first weeks.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Herman G Morgan III

Remove the May 31st requirement for Making home affordableAlmost all aspects of the making home affordable act requires that the loan or previous refinance not taken place after May 31, 2009. National GMO Food and GMO Seed BanDangerous genetically modified foods and seeds are now occupying almost half of the United States croplands. The bacteria in them continue to live inside the intestines for a long period. An unknown-to-science organism has appeared in many GMO fields and is spreading rapidly - it has no name as of today, is smaller than a virus, and it has been clearly linked to infertility and neonatal deaths in cattle that have been fed GMO crops. Should you wish to verify these claims, please visit: http://action.fooddemocracynow.org/sign/dr_hubers_warning/ or watch his videos on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzlwAAf9DRg&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8BTrG7VKmI&feature=player_embedded Who is Dr. Don M. Huber? For 50 years, he's been a scientist studying plant diseases in the U.S. and around the world and spent 35 years at Purdue University as Professor Emeritus of plant pathology. He has a 41-year military career as a retired Colonel, evaluating natural and manmade biological threats, including germ warfare and disease outbreaks. He coordinates the “Emergent Diseases and Pathogens Committee” as part of the USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System under Homeland Security.91 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Marleny Alfaro

Lost friends to guns? Demand reform.I lost two friends to gun violence. I want stricter gun laws. If all those who lost a loved one to gun violence sign this petition for stricter gun laws it will show that gun violence affects far more people than the immediate families of the victims. Today some 30 Americans are likely to die from firearms, including 17 children and youth under age 24. Since 1980 over 1 million Americans have lost their lives to gun violence. That translates into many millions of survivors and friends and families of those victims. If you are one of those survivors, please sign the petition and share with friends.65 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Peggy Wireman

Support your local small businessesI have worked for and owned several small businesses and understand the issues small business owners face. I would like for our community to show their support for our local businesses in order for them remain successful. Small businesses give back to the community more then a lot of people think. These businesses need our support!4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Barbara Szatkowski

Save Democracy in North CarolinaGovernor McCrory and the North Carolina House has introduced legislation titled H.B. 451 that can be construed as nothing but a blatant attack on democracy. Not only would this bill destroy North Carolina's judicial public financing system -- a model for the nation -- but it would also eliminate same day registration, Sunday voting, and a full week of early voting. This is politics at its most cynical -- politicians attempting to stifle the voice of the voters with blatantly partisan attacks. And now, at a time when voters are looking for answers to the influx of big money in elections, we should be looking for ways to reduce the influence of special interests not increase their power. Don't let these attacks on democracy go unanswered. Add your name to the petition and tell the Governor and the State Legislature to do the right thing and stop H.B. 451.6,667 of 7,000 SignaturesCreated by Eric Ming

Improving East Hampton Water SafetyWoman Dies in Riptide, Amagansett 2010. Woman Drowns, East Hampton Village Beach 2012. Off Duty Lifeguard saves man from drowning, Montauk Beach 2012. Most drownings only take a few minutes. The best resource we have for a drowning victim is the closest lifeguard. Why is it that only a select few are notified of water rescues? If safety is our top priority then all town and village employed Lifeguards willing to respond to water rescues should be notified of water rescue near them.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sean Daly

End Class DiscriminationPoor people or those who have debt are being held hostage by faulty credit reports, unfair credit scores and hiring practices which allow discrimination against those who have low credit scores. The reason people apply for jobs is to ensure that they can pay their bills, being unemployed or poor should not limit one's ability to gain employment. Please add economic class or status to the list of Title VII criteria that should not be considered by employers when making hiring decisions. Prospective employers should not be permitted to request credit reports or scores for applicants.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rebecca Benston
