In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Why in America, do we allow people to run for political office, government, just because they want to? Why?

Via FICA both Social Security and Medicare are funded by payroll deductions on the working class. This gets short-circuited when jobs are off-shored. A good example of how insidious the NRA actions have been, may be best demonstrated by the TIHART amendment. As a result of the TIHART amendment, the American people are not privy to the information available in the ATF's [alcohol, tobacco and firearms agency] records. As a result, the American people cannot become aware of the data that clearly shows that the NRA is hiding the real facts so that the firearms industry and their lobbyists can prosper. It is NOT most of the NRA members, but an influential few that are killing Americans to pad their own pockets. We are ALL affected by this issue.

Texas uses an important tool, the Contested Case Hearing process, because Texas respects property rights, is reluctant to grant overarching power to administrative agencies, and has a strong due course of law requirement in the Texas Constitution. Although relatively few in number, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is able to grant Contested Case Hearings to property owners, local governments, and businesses who can prove they could be adversely affected by a new or expanded facility. These Contested Case Hearings provide parties with the ability to have a discovery process and put their case before a neutral Administrative Law Judge at the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). A proposed bill in the Texas State House, House Bill 2082, would cut off access to a Contested Case Hearing for air quality, water quality and waste permits. For example, if a new or expanded power plant, landfill, mine, or wastewater facility were proposed, a property-owner, local government, or business would only be able to file for an administrative review at SOAH after a permit is granted by the TCEQ, and after the permittee can begin construction. SOAH would have complete discretion whether to grant or deny this administrative review. If an administrative review is granted there would be no evidentiary hearing, as with other SOAH hearings. In addition, if a permit is appealed in State Court, the parties protesting a permit would have a different and higher standard of review than a permit applicant pursuing a similar appeal. This bill represents a massive reworking of the permitting process in Texas, and would stack the deck against property owners, local governments, and businesses.

District representation should be determined by a geographical grid in regards to population density of the area. Not by the re-shaping of one political party.

My Son Shawn was interested in taking this class...it is a good opportunity for many children...this is a high paying job and should not have been removed from the school...my son wanted to get on the pipeline with his Dad...not sure why it was removed,if they might think there is not enough welding jobs in the area or what?Good welding jobs require traveling,but all good jobs usually require traveling...Thank You

The war on drugs is literally a street war. Smugglers, drug dealers, and street gangs—who make their money selling drugs—are armed to the teeth with high-powered weapons. The police counter with machine guns, bullet-proof vests and helmets, and even tanks. The collateral damage to innocent people has been enormous.

Tax payer money is being spent on foreign made materials that are being installed in our publicly funded buildings. When tax payer money is spent I believe it should benefit the American people as much possible.

The Sequester is an attack on the Middle Class. We Middle Class Federal Employees are bearing the brunt of Big Businesses not paying taxes. .

Bankers have created massive wealth, but their greed comes at the peoples’ expense. These laws will make loans available to most people, and yet banks will still make a decent profit. These laws will change banking from a system that rewards career criminals, to one that rewards good banking.
