Currently the US Government is cutting funding to domestic programs that help Americans while foreign countries continue to receive billions of dollars in military and other aid. And certain foreign lobbies are actually trying to get legislation passed that will make them immune to any future budget cuts, while millions of Americans lose funding for programs that serve them directly.

NJ S2596 that each region -- north, central, west and south -- maintain one operational developmental center and that “certain factors” be considered before residents are transferred between centers. This Bill disregards the U.S. Supreme Court's Olmstead decision, and is not in line with the interests of the population that the Department of Human Services serves. The suggestion that New Jersey needs to maintain one developmental center in each region is abhorrent. Keeping developmental centers open - regardless of which state they are located - undermines disability services’ progress and the basic human rights of all people, regardless of their abilities.

Unpaid Taxes by big banks using robo-signed documents have foreclosed properties fraudulently, impacting the County budget for police, fire and education services. Big banks must prove they own the note/mortgage according to AB 1602 and SB 1470, effective 1/1/13. Fraudulent foreclosures must be reported by the Recorder to the CA Attorney General.

I've been trying to get disability since 2011. I have Fibromyalgia and dont think that enough people know how painful it is and how it controls your life. Yet I keep getting turned down for disability.

Lakes Michigan & Huron are at record low water levels. Most of the drop is being caused by the lack of ice during the winter, and the overall lack of rainfall. There is a third cause which is the dredging of the St Clair River which caused severe bottom eroding and now allows huge amounts of water to pass out of the lakes. It is estimated that the St Clair dredging accounts for 15" - 17 " of the water level drop. Property owners, boaters, swimmers, fisherman, marinas and the entire population surrounding the 2 lakes are being severely affected by the conditions. The US Govt, and the Corp of Engineers needs to impliment corrective actions immediately and stop the outflow of water.

I have a younger sister that effected by MS and I want to see more funding to develop stronger and more potent medications,so that eventually this condition can be eradicated.

HB 7011 is a bill that will convert our Florida Retirement System to 401Ks and help Wall Street to rob the people again. We have to stop them in their tracks. Wall Street and their speculation is something they might want to risk, but the people don't want to see their hard earned money slip away into the hands of the greedy.

Texas is the only state that does not allow Reverse Mortgage through a purchase for seniors. An amendment to allow seniors to purchase a home with the assistance of a Reverse Mortgage will help seniors to live a more secure financial life.
