Now, Cathrynn Brown is trying to back-track and say the bill was a mistake. I DON'T BUY THAT. Her bill was an addition to current statutes of just 41 words, and Rep. Brown is a lawyer trained to read complex documents. Plus she had 9 proofreaders in her co-sponsors! I worked at a Rape Crisis Center all through law school and it is so clear to me that she has no experience in assisting rape victims, but she is again failing to stand up for NM women. Cathrynn Brown must withdraw the bill & RESIGN NOW! We are also asking the following co-sponsors to withdraw the legislation and explain their actions: Reps. Anna M.
