Reform child support lawsHere we sit paying more in support than we bring home. Due to the laws going on the previous years income. My husbands job is based on natural disasters. If no tragedy he dosent make money. And we have to wait until February of each year to reapply for a reduction. Wasting the courts taxpayers and our time. One year he made 52k the following year 40k and was made to pay support of the 52k from the previous year. While I sit and fight tooth and nail for the 2.25 I get monthly. Very sad. As well as having a child over 18 not living at home and with their own income and I am supposed to be responsible for the medical until they are 21. How come the father is not responsible?10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jackie

affordable health care for allI had an abdominal CT scan done recently, which took all of 15 minutes. I received a summary of the expense to my insurance and medicare of $4,457.30. I called my insurance to ask about this high price for a scan that only lasted 15 minutes and was told that it is at the discretion of health care institution for the charge. How can someone who has a high deductible or no insurance afford this? It disturbs me that health care is not affordable for all people.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Janet Walker

Waste of Tax Payer MoneyI am increasing alarmed at the amount of money that you use to challenge, all Democratic, Federal Initiatives that have the favor of the majority of the American People. It is making our State a source of showing discourse to our Repubic as used on BBC News and Al Jazeera English.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul D. Stevenson

Arizona Bottle BillArizona's beautiful landscape is marred by broken glass, empty glass and plastic bottles and beverage cans. Urban areas have more recycling options, but rural Arizona has become a trash midden. Imposing a 2.5-cent recycling fee per bottle and can would increase recycling, reduce unnecessary waste, clean up the landscapes on which so much of our tourism economy depends, and could provide an allowance supplement for youngsters.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Holly Wagner

WIA Funding must be fixed!WIA is a government tuition assistance program for unemployed workers who want to retrain themselves for in-demand jobs, such as computer networking. The problem is that many participating schools have dramatically raised their tuition costs (my school went up over 208%!) in order to 'milk the program' (?). The WIA contract REQUIRES participants to complete their studies or face penalties, so many students are forced to take out loans they may not be able to repay in order to complete their funding or - in over a quarter of the cases - they drop out and never finish the program, having wasted two years of their lives in a futile effort to improve themselves.48 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Bohannon

To Establish a National Election CommissionSeveral States are currently considering reforming their electoral voting approach based on electoral votes per Congressional District. This would result in a variety of approaches toward the election of the President from State to State. And, within each State, it would magnify the problem created by party politics controlling the establishment of the Congressional Districts. While more voters supported Democratic candidates, the Republicans control the House of Representatives. The same result would have occurred had electoral votes been allocated by Congressional District.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gary Peltier

State of Arkansas's Right to Work LawsThe Right to Work Laws in Arkansas need to be repealed. They are keeping the state at the bottom of the financial chain in this country. Example: My Daughter worked at Sonic Drive In Restaurant, she got paid $3.50 per hour, and any tips she got were counted towards her minimum wage. She is the only bread winner in her household, he is temporarily disabled, and the tips on top of minimum wage would help considerably. This might work in a high end establishment, but most workers don't work in such an establishment. All this does is keep the employer from having to pay minimum wage. It also gives the employer the right to fire someone without just cause. The employee can be released for ANY reason, IE; if the employer had a bad day they could fire someone on the spot for nothing that has to do with work. It's just wrong , and needs to be changed.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Howard D. Gassett
