Let's pass the same gun control policies that Governor Andrew Cuomo did for his citizens in New York.

State Law allows Commisioners Court and City Government to set the rules for Liquor Licenses and can allow these to allowing the selling of liqouor within 1000 ft for schools. We would like for the state to set the minimum distace to be 1000 ft from public and ,private schools. There should also not be any sales within 300 ft of a church, public hospital and residences.

The petition supports of unity to provide reasonable personal gun ownership of non-assault type weapontry. The right to provide full and comprensive medical care without prohibition of a woman's right to choose their personal health choices. The right to pursue unity of access to the right to vote for all citizens. The endowment of Virginia citzens to be represented by officials that put our commonwealth above those of a few special interests.

Our jails are bursting with non-violent people caught in the seemingly endless tide of insanity surrounding marijuana usage. Stop wasting precious public funds on the arrest and incarceration of marijuana users.

I am a teacher in the Middleton School District. We currently have 15 furlough days. Providing quality educators need to be a priority. We will not be able to retain and attract quality teachers in our state if we do not provide adequate funding for education.

My personal experiance with the School Voucher System has been a blessing for my daughter. There are groups that would like to eliminate the voucher system. Please sign this to let our representatives know that we should keep the school voucher system in place.

Ohio has the chance to repeal and replace its 2004 Marriage Ban with a constitutional amendment that will allow a gay and lesbian couple the freedom to marry in a civil marriage. Marriage allows two loving people the right to make a public commitment to one another. Gay and lesbian couples want to marry for similar reasons as anyone—to make a lifetime promise of love, commitment, and responsibility to each other. Only marriage provides the protections families need in a crisis. The language of the Amendment has been certified by the OH Atty. General, unanimously approved the OH Ballot Board and has survived an OH Supreme Court challenge. Please support OH's Freedom to Marry and Religious Freedom Amendment. Provide family security and religious freedom by stopping the government from dictating to religious institution who may and may not be married.

Dear Governor: Please support HB 2559 which will create much-needed alimony (spousal support) reform in Oregon. My husband, and thousands of other payers like him, has been strangled by excessive alimony payments to a wealthy college-educated woman for ten years (despite a reduction in his income) with no end in sight. Modifications are terribly expensive to seek and difficult to obtain, even when a payer has lost his or her job. The economic downturn has created a system in which payers go bankrupt trying to support a former spouse, while that former spouse has no obligation to seek employment and suffers no income decline. Our bill would set guidelines for alimony awards, thus reducing expensive and heart-wrenching litigation, and would equalize the system to lessen the punishment suffered by income earners when a marriage fails.
