End foreign aid to UgandaThe LGBT of Uganda are facing imprisonment for being gay. We, the people of the United States, may not be able to change the horrible laws established in Uganda by the vile right-wing religious fanatics like Lively, but we can end the funding of a country that imprisons people for being different.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert A. Abused and Illegally EvictedI have been emailing my 2 landlords since April 16th, 2012 about the abuse that I was going through at home. The 2 landlords always reminded myself as well as my abusive ex-boyfriend of how we are binded by the lease and my ex used that to his advantage. My life was threatened by my ex on December 7th and 8th and I am recieving nasty emails from one of the landlords who is a Lawyer in Hauppauge, NY. The landlord continues to state that my ex and I are binded by the lease and my ex has used that to his advantage thats why the abuse continued and got worse. I have contacted every legal service in Rochester Ny only to get the run around by everyone and to find out no one can help me. Not only am I homeless as of now I am being sued for $1800.00 by the landlord. When will abusers start paying for their own actions instead of the women who continues to suffer behind their actions.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Vernell Jones

Life insurance payoutsI requested my beneficiary payments be electronically deposited, sent all of the forms required. Both insurance companies mailed the checks instead. This delay of two weeks should be unacceptable.32 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maridale Moore

ssidisabililtyI have been affected in 2004 and 2007 with cancer. I went through chemo. I have a list of other health issues. I think it is unfair to be taken off ssi disability. Especially after working and paying taxes prior to my cancer. I have no job, cant work, and no way to pay bills. This is unfair especially when you have or have had cancer and have other health issues as well.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by patricia

Don't let Congress scrap Hurricane Sandy ReliefLast night, House Republican leadership scrapped $60 billion in relief for Hurricane Sandy's victims. At the last minute. With no explanation. This bill will help repair thousands of homes in New York and across the region. It will rebuild damaged roads and bridges. And it will help displaced families get their lives back together. Disaster relief is the federal government's responsibility, whether the disaster happens in New York or New Orleans. It's time Congress acted responsibly.95 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joe Dinkin

Expel Rep. Boehner from office under US Constitution Article 1 Section 5, for disorderly behavior...The Speaker of the House, Rep. Boehner (R-OH 8th District) refuses to bring Sandy Aid to the floor for a vote. This petition proposes the immediate expulsion of Rep. Boehner (R-OH 8th District) from the 112th and 113th Congresses, under Article 1 Section 5 of the US Constitution for disorderly behavior and criminal negligence. The States affected by Super Storm Sandy are some of America's oldest. Since States like New York, New Jersey and Connecticut fought to form this Nation 236 years ago, no storm has done more damage to the landscape of our coast. Rep. Boehner's inaction is unconscionable. He elevates partisan ideology over the needs of his fellow citizens and brings shame to our Capitol, to our Founders and to us all. Please sign this petition urging his immediate removal.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Levin
