The Ohio legislators are so focused on absorption legislation, they are ignoring other issues. We need legislators who are focused on jobs, infrastructure and bringing new high tech development to Ohio. They also need to create an environment that keeps young people from leaving Ohio. Join with me in telling the legislature of Ohio to get moving on issues other than abortion. The data about issues would support that Ohioans don't see abortion as the most important issue facing Ohio.

After experiencing Hurricane Sandy, a record-breaking wild fire season and severe droughts in parts of the midwest, Americans are increasingly aware of the disastrous impacts of global warming. Recent NASA and NOAA reports indicate that atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations which were at 285 parts per million (ppm) or less until 1880 have increased from about 315 ppm in 1960 to present day levels of 390 ppm. According to the Environmental Defense Fund, 77% of Americans say global warming should be a priority for the President and Congress (Solutions, Winter 2013)

Creation Theory is best taught in the home and Church, not in Public Schools. Science and Geology are subjects for academic study, not religious dogma! However well intentioned,"creationism" is not a suitable school subject. Diversity of religion is a basic foundation of American liberty. Let the parents decide religious views for their children, not the government of Indiana.

Let's END Homelessness, poverty, lack, and want first in Long Beach, California and then within our noble nation, the great United States of America. We are facing a devastating loss of interest in reading throughout our country, and the best way to fight that sure demise is to GET AUTHORS ACTIVATED. If every author interested in publishing in the U.S.A. hired the homeless, the long-term unemployed, parolees, the addicted, et cetera to promote their work, we could end social ills that have plagued our nation since its inception. Give each person who signs up with an author AN EQUAL SHARE OF FIVE PERCENT OF YOUR MONTHLY PROFITS and you have suddenly employed people who in many cases have lost all hope.

Climate change. The costs of energy we consume does not properly reflect the costs to our land, water and air. There should be a carbon tax on the sources of energy: coal, oil, gas which damage our enviroment the most.

The Federal Government should leave the decision by the people of Washington and Colorado alone and not interfere with there process of legalizing marijuana.

It is time for the rich to help out more. The middle class "worker bees" are dancing as fast as they can!!

The Senate is broken. But still some Democratic Senators are resisting filibuster reform. We need to make sure that all 55 of the Democratic Senators support reforming the filibuster when the new congress convenes.
