• Target taxation to the cause of taxation
For example: The cost of fuel is much higher than what we are paying at the pump. The US government spends about $100 billion annually ($460 per individual taxpayer) just to defend the shipment of foreign oil. Americans should pay their total cost of fuel at the pump in order to make reasonable and responsible decisions related to energy and energy efficiency.

Colorado government has long been hamstrung by TABOR, engineered by a discredited and corrupt politician on behalf of special interests. It is time for it to be abolished.

  • Shame on CVS
There is a greeting card that CVS is carrying that is offensive. The front of the card shows a picture of President Obama. The inside of the card reads "See... There ARE SCARIER things than turning a year older. Happy Birthday."

  • Equitable Entitlement Cuts
I am concerned that the common people receiving entitlements through Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are being unfairly singled out in resolution of the debt crisis. All citizens should share in the solution.

  • Fair Compensation
Our senators and representatives no longer represent the average working American. They have lost touch with the problems faced by working Americans. They recess while they should be working on solving they many budget and health issues that face our country. Its time they faced the problems of middle class Americans. Cut their salary and benefits back to the level of the working class. maybe then we will have representation.

  • The Forgotten
It seems convicted felons or people with not so stellar records have been forgotten. They are competing in the job market with scholars and college grads. Can someone please start a second chance program in each state for people who are trying to bounce back. They have made mistakes but they should not be thrown away and never forgiven.

  • earned benefits are not entitlements
social security and medicare are programs that we working citizens have paid into through our wages over the years of employment... entitlements are what congress has given away freely to corporations... if congress cannot understand the difference...then congress needs to resign their positions..and hold new elections...

  • Stop the FCC from Approving Further Media Consolidation in America
In 1983, 50 corporations controlled a majority of American media. Now that number is six. And Big Media may get even bigger, thanks to the FCC’s consideration of ending a rule preventing companies from owning a newspaper and radio and TV stations in the same big city. Such a move, which they’ve tried in 2003 and 2007 as well, would give these massive media companies free rein to devour more of the competition, control the public message, and also limit diversity across the media landscape.
