Do not cut workers's hours to avoid ObarmaCare

Being a librarian for going on 30 years, I have witnessed the demise of the library in the public school setting. With drastic cuts in state education budgets, libraries were hit hard and resulted in over half the schools in America without functioning libraries. Libraries have always been the heart of a learning institution. Literacy rates soar with a good library and we need a literate future society.

John Henry Lawson was an African American who won the Medal of Honor for his actions aboard the USS Hartford at the Battle of Mobile Bay on August 5, 1864. For a significant portion of his life, Lawson lived in Camden, New Jersey. He also chose to be buried in Jersey soil. With the 150th commemoration of the Civil War currently taking the NJ Sesquicentennial Committee has elected to exclude John Henry Lawson from its list of New Jersey Medal of Honor winners, Also, Lawson, who was an African American, is the only MOH winner excluded by the committee. We want Lawson's name added to its roll of MOH winners.

My 49 year old brother recently had a stroke and brain anuerism because he did not have affordable healthcare insurance. He was not able to purchase his high blood pressure medicine at cost. He coded several times, but presently is in a brain injury rehabilitation hospital. He still requires medical care.

In Pennsylvania families like mine pay 40% of net income for their children's early education. Single parents receive help, people with extremely low income receive help. But those people who decide to marry and work full time jobs receive absolutely no help. My family would be better off financially if i left the house. The family would be showered with benefits including subsidized daycare. Many families choose to live separately, or never marry because they would rather not worry about picking what bills to skip out on paying because they spent $1400 on daycare for the month, more than the rent, car payment, insurance, food combined.

There are efforts in progress to reform the filibuster in the U.S. Senate. Senator Feinstein has indicated that she currently opposes those reforms. The current filibuster rules have been abused to frustrate meaningful progress in the Senate. Any reforms must be passed when the Senate reconvenes in January.

I would like start a petition to the President and Congress to write a bill to the bankers to give our tax dollar back from when they were bailed out initially. I don't understand why they were bailed out, but it is now apparent they don't need the money, and haven't done with the money anything to help the tax payers.

DO NOT SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES UNTIL THEY DO THE RIGHT THING! LETS HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS, THERE BUSINESS AND PROFITS................... This petition is for all those that are working at WAL-MART, McDonalds, Wendy's, Arby's, Burger King, K-Mart and all others who only pay a minimum wage, don't give holiday pay, no insurance or any benefits. This economy can support a minimum wage of at least $10.00 hr and benefits for all employees. Why should everyone that works for them have to depend on welfare and other govt benefits and pass this burden onto other taxpayers.

Around the world and heavily in the United States, airplanes are spraying aluminum, barium and other agents in cloud seeding (also called Stratospheric Aerosol Geoengineering and chemtrails) programs. This is creating manmade floods, droughts, severe weather and global dimming. It's also poisoning the soil and making it inhospitable for crops to grow, except for genetically modified organisms that are engineered to withstand the effects created by the weather control program that poisons the soil. Until last summer, I had beautiful, healthy vegetables in my garden. This summer I had few vegetables, and they were in poor condition. Three recent and often cited studies declaring fracking without danger have been debunked. University backed units in two cases were either eliminated or department heads resigned/retired. A third study was called off when faculty refused to participate.
