Republicans to blame if we go over the fiscal cliffThe Republicans have become the party of "No". If they refuse to come to an agreement on the budget and that leads our country over the fiscal cliff, we will hold them responsible.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Deanna Mason

North Dakota's 2012 Human Trafficking Report Card & 17 Other States Failed Too...We must work together and our state Legislators need to help US fix or rewrite the law to end/stop modern-day slavery. The issue drew the attention of President Obama at former President Bill Clinton's Clinton Global Initiative on Tuesday (Sept. 25), where Obama said the estimated 20 million victims of human trafficking would become a major focus of his Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. "Like that Good Samaritan on the road to Jericho, we can't just pass by, indifferent," Obama said. "We've got to be moved by compassion. We've got to bind up the wounds."56 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard A. Sands, Ret. PI

Treat Texas Teachers FairlyI am a 10 year veteran teacher who has spent all 10 years of my career at low income Texas schools. I see how bad decisions from our governor and legislature negatively affect teachers, administration, parents, and most importantly students. Texas needs to treat its teachers fairly!4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Erin Bowman

Flood relief in Port Monmouth NJFor over a decade our community has been affected by severe flooding. During every high tide and full moon cycle we get at least a foot of water in our streets and yards. It is so bad that we have constructed our own barriers to put in front of our homes to prevent water from entering. We were promised a flood wall was going to be built in our area back in 2000 by Congressman Pallone, and nothing has been done to date. We need to get this project completed before the next Sandy!241 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Ralph Borgess

Extend the middle-class tax cutI have a grandson in college by obtaining loans and working at a supermarket, young friends on Pell grants who need their education--some who returned to find a career after several years of working at low paying jobs; they will spend years paying back their loans, hopefully at low interest. I also have a daughter with MS whose medical bills are sky high--over $4,000 a month; another daughter with brain damage after surgery from a brain bleed requiring rehab. I am a 78 year old widow, a retired teacher, living on a fixed income.381 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Annette Cappella
