Increasing the size of the house would allow the American people to have a stronger voice in the government. Originally when the house first started in 1789 it had 65 members, one for every 60,000 inhabitants today the average member represents about 700,000 Americans. The disparity in representation for the American people is far too great.

I was looking forward to undoing the wave election of 2010, and I was looking forward to throwing my support behind the Democrat running against John Boehner. Only, I saw that he was running unopposed... Let's not let that happen again! Vow to support, with money or effort, a Democrat to run against Boehner and his do-nothing record.

Tuesday, Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus said that he would not move either the "heartbeat" abortion ban bill or the bill to defund Planned Parenthood in Ohio. Both bills are unlikely to move forward. Senator Niehaus even defended Planned Parenthood’s role as provider of critical women’s health care: “From my perspective, you have to look at the entirety of the work that is done by Planned Parenthood, and I believe that they offer much-needed services that are not offered other places.” Unfortunately, there’s more work to do. Governor John Kasich has recently appointed the President of Ohio Right to Life, Michael Gonidakis, to the State Medical Board. Kasich has shown once again that he believes the government should get between physicians and their patients. Positioning ideology on the same level as public health and safety must be avoided. The appointment of Mike Gonidakis sends a message that the function of the Medical Board is not to license and regulate the medical profession, but to foster one particular ideological perspective within the Board's activities, opinions, and rulings.

Cut the Bloated Defense Budget and use the "Peace Dividend" to rebuild America and create jobs.

The American people are waiting for their government to do its work: serve the citizens. Police violence towards American citizens has escalated , with officers having no fear of retaliation unless sued in court , if an Officer loses his case in court and found guilty , then the guilty officer should compensate the victim with the Officers , pension and unions own monies instead of charging the tax payer .

At will" employment in Michigan means the employer has the right to terminate an employee for any reason without proving just cause. The employee has very limited legal options to fight the termination. Many more affluent fathers win custody of their children because the way the courts in Massachusetts are operating. The longer you last in the custody battle at the courts, the more likely you will get custody of your child. Also, many abusive fathers tend to fight for custody of their children to punish mothers who had enough of the abuse. According to current statistics, if the father has the economic means and the mother doesn't, the probability for the father gaining custody is 70% greater than that of the mother.
