• Cut subsidies to oil companies.
I want to cut these subsidies. This is corporate welfare. In the season of putting cuts on the table, what could be more appropriate.

  • Remove Flouride from our Water Supply
Flouride, the chemical, that is added to our water supply is extremely toxic. (read your toothpaste tube lately?) It not only causes tooth decay, and bone marrow problems, especially in children, but also adversely affects the Central Nervous System. If injested in sufficient amounts (which isn't much) it will lower the IQ of a child's brain. We need to protect our children, not poison them - they are our future.

  • Property Improvement tax
I would like to do a small room add-on and plant a small orchard. I can’t believe that I can be taxed for planting an orchard. I’m very discouraged about improving my house because my tax rate will go up. Its stopping me from spending money on contractors, and building supplies.

  • Yes for Federal Health Care
Obamacare as you all refer to it. I am 51 years old, my husband has a pre existing condition which has no known cure. I have two children a 19 year old a sophomore in college and an 18 year old a senior in high school. I want to option to keep my children on our insurance until they turn 26. Their focus at this time of their lives needs to be about an education not health care expenses.

  • Montgomery Officials: support the restoration of a single polling place in Kensington
Before 2012, the citizens of the Town of Kensington voted at the Town Hall for municipal, county, state and federal elections. This helped foster a sense of community and improve voter turnout. Because of school board redistricting, the Town has been split into two polling locations. Please support MC 1-13 to restore voting for all at the Town Hall!

  • Alternative transportation
Many of us want to do something about climate change. One of the ways is to bike to work, school, etc. We need to create REAL bike lanes, protected from cars, that make bicycling a SAFE mode of transportation over long distances.

  • Senator Cornyn: We have spoken, now fall in line
The "Fiscal Cliff" negotiations are, once again, an opportunity to attack the social safety net our predecessors worked so hard to achieve. It would sicken me, and I hope you, to have them dismantled on our watch. And, of course, any negotiation that comes along winds up being an opportunity to squeeze in an extension for tax breaks for the wealthiest among us. We need to break this habit by allowing the Bush era tax breaks to expire and extending the breaks to those that can actually feel their impact....US!

  • Rekkles should be able to compete in Season 3!
During IPL5, Fnatic has shown top quality team play, with the help of sOAZ, xPekee, Cyanide, nRated, and lastly, Rekkles. Rekkles is at the age of 16, and will become 17 in September, however, he is not allowed to compete in Season 3 because Riot has decided that the minimum age to do so should be 17. This, I've heard was because of the American law. This would be not only a huge waste of talent, but also this is a wierd decision. * American laws is not universal laws, Riot should not force other countries to follow the American laws, in Sweden, you can actually start working at the age of 15, and it becomes more common at the age of 16. However, there are restrictions, like 16 years old cannot work more than 6 hours per day, but that should be fine, shouldn't it? * Rekkles have shown his worth to stay in the Team. With all the Korean and Asian teams growing, Europe seriously needs some good teams grow here as well! Without the same Fnatic from IPL 5, I fear that they might fall down in skill! So, do you want to support Rekkles? Do you want to support Fnatic? Please sign this petition! We need you!

  • Overhaul the VA
As a Vietnam Combat Veterans who must be classified as one of the "returning wounded" from that generation and VA Service Rep for over 30 years, that was medically retired from VA Employment, I was at a meeting on July 30, 2012 with Congressman John Lewis, where issues about the Atlanta VA were discussed and the Congressman promised to start hearings on these complaints. This petition is to get the Congressman to keep his promise to start these hearings, and thereafter introduce a Bill to Overhaul the VA. The courts, veterans' complaints and the media have provided evidence of this need for years. The time for action is now.

  • Recall Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Eric Cantor
Recall Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Eric Cantor: For representing the gain-greed fiduciary interests of the top 2% non-working, capital- gains income-grabbers, who get tax-breaks denied their working constituents, who voted for their representation in congress, which has been traitorously denied and rejected by these three anti-middle-class Corporatist (R) Party pettifoggers..

  • tragic medicare penalties
when i was in my 20s i had health insurance thru my fathers business but when he retired and things changed i became sadled with a catostrophic medicare penalty of 110 percent. congress doesnt care. they just love keeping my social security money which i desperately need to live. i think they have taken 20000 dollars from me so far. they justify this by saying i cost them money by late enrollment. just the opposite. all that private insurance my father bought misguidedly saved the government a fortune. I only receive 537 dollars a month in social security. I am disabled and alone in the world. I need my money back to live in the world. I wish senator barbara mikulski and senator ben cardin and congressman dutch rupersberger would care enough to fix this nighmare
