I was scheduled to receive a steroid injection during all this fungus caused death/damage concern caused by NECC (New England Compounding Co.). I learned, with a few hours to spare, that the medicine I would be getting was safe. So many others are not that lucky. Twenty Five Americans have been killed by sloppiness of the NECC and their making of the medicines. And not for the first time! The year 2002 was another major problem year. It does not need to continue. We need for any company that produces medicine for humans to be inspected on a regular basis and demonstrate to the FDA and CDC that they are clean, sterile, and know what they are doing.

I am very concerned about my Social Security Retirement Benefits and Health Insurance: Medicare/Medicaid. If Congress has the same concerns about their own retirement and health care, they will make the right choices for all of us.

Congress votes themselves special retirement systems, special health care systems, special pensions. They lose contact with the lives of the ordinary citizens they represent. I and many other folks are counting on Social Security benefits and Medicare/Medicaid to be there for us in our old age. If Congress must use this system, they will keep it in good working order!

In 2000, we saw that the man elected by the majority of the popular vote in America, LOST the election due to a shortage of electoral votes. The Electoral College is an anachronism, established back when communication between sates took days, even weeks. Now it is instantaneous. There is no need for it, and it can significantly skew election outcomes.

There are many Americans who have large amounts of student loan debt. With the current state of the economy, many are not paying student loans because they can not afford to. The banks and automobile industries have received bailouts. We need a student loan bailout. Let students start the next four years, debt free. The guidance counselors at my high school all went to college for free. When and why did we ever make education so costly?

If corporations are truly "people" and have all the privileges thereof, like free speech rights giving them the power to donate to political campaigns, then they should be subject to the same criminal punishments as people. In particular, corporations that have caused deaths of innocents should be subject to capital punishment themselves, that is, they should be disincorporated, their charters revoked.
