Sheldon Adelson has contributed millions of dollars to super pacs that support Mitt Romney and Republicans. Any investigation by either candidate should be conducted by an independent prosecutor to avoid the appearance of returning a favor or getting revenge.

Since there's truth in advertising for the public/commercial issues, there should be "whole truth" in political advertising. Freedom of Speech should not apply to lies/out of context utterances.

A Friend and neighborhood activist is being foreclosed. He built the house with his own hands but will be on the street in 10 days if someone buys it at auction in 9 days, October 26. His many communications with the mortgage holders, who, it seems, are not the actual mortgage holders, have yielded no action nor have they even been acknowledged. Governor Gregoire, this is urgent. Will you, or the person you designate appropriate, order an emergency halt to foreclosures in Washington State until all situations are properly reviewed and especially, discussed with the homeowner? An excerpt from his letter is below: "On the 16th of August, 2012 the Washington State Supreme Court ruled unanimously that certain foreclosure activities in which MERS does not hold the promissory note is not a lawful beneficiary. Consequently, an unlawful beneficiary could not proceed with a foreclosure.It is my understanding that by law a trustee is a neutral party. And yet every action Regional Trustee has taken thus far has been bank driven and bank represented (perhaps even bank financed?). Why has there been no effort by the trustee to hear my side of the story? Please explain, so that i may understand. I have been told (and this is clearly documented in the public records of my home) that HSBC is not the holder of my note, nor is MERS, both of whom are listed as the only beneficiaries on my foreclosure notice.I ask Regional Trustee to do the same, to step toward the side of justice, of people, of Humanity and cancel this auction, at least until HSBC cleans up its own house before it steals others, at least until my concerns stated herein are fully addressed, and certainly until the true owners of my mortgage step out of hiding and justify their actions."

Recently I have seen so many kids affected by cyber bullying on the web. So much out pour over a recent victim named Amanda Todd at age 15 took her on life. This has got to end! Too many kids are dying. This should be a criminal law convicted like murder when this happens. Too many people are killing our children and getting away with this!

We lost our house, we try a short-sale and Bank of America don't accepted the offer ($365,000), and later after they foreclouse us, they sold the house for ($309,000) about $56,000 dollars less from the short-sale our real estate agent submited.Bank of America, do not negociate with nobody, they don't care. We need to stop Bank of America to keep steeling peoples money and dreams

I believe in the Separation of Church and State. I think that it is time 'we the people' did something about the interference of Religious Denominations in the public arena. It is detrimental to the life, liberty, and pursuit of happines of many citizens (women, minorities, LGTB community). Churches have been given a free ride for too long. They should have to pay taxes.

The NDAA is a law that permits the federal government to jail American Citizens for crimes the might commit in the future. American Citizens can now be detained indefinitely for essentially suspicion. How do we know this will be not be abused? Altough presently being challenged the ruling against NDAA is being challenged by the Obama Administration. Please sign to repeal and shelve the NDAA and keep America free.

On October 21st, the Georgia Pacific plant where I have worked for over 21 years will close for good. The next day, along with 140 of my coworkers, I will find myself without work, without health care, without any prospects for new work. Georgia Pacific has given us no reason for closing the plant and eliminating so many good paying jobs. I am most terrified by the loss of my health insurance – as my wife battles cancer, what are we supposed to do? Go bankrupt right as we prepare for retirement? Stand with me and the 140 other laid-off workers to demand an explanation from Georgia Pacific, and call upon our elected representatives to stand up for us. -- Glenn Jackson

There are millions of deaf and hard of hearing people in the USA, who are unable to understand your videos because they are not close-captioned. Or, if they are, the close-captioning does not make any sense!

I go to Lady Bird Johnson Middle School where the passing periods are three minutes long. Passing periods are too short, every year they become more shorter. Teachers expect us to go to the restroom during passing periods but that dosnt really gives us enough time. What if our class is on the other side of the school? and its an emergency to use the restroom? We need to change our passing periods.

I myself have lived in Durham my whole life. This "track housing" will destroy our small town and turn it into a mini city. Durham has had many businesses come and go and yes we could use a few upgrades but adding 144 families will only bring big chain grocery stores, coffee shops, pharmacies ect. THE MEETING IS THIS THURSDAY Oct. 25th @9am at 25 county center drive Oroville. That is the same exit and street that the court house is on.

Nothing has hindered my personal financial recovery more than excessive credit card interest rates. I feel that credit card interest is a tax on debt and should be limited.
