Domestic Violence affects women and children in every State. We deserve equal protection under the law from abuse, physical and emotional harm. The American Constitutionstates that all Men are creadterd equal under the law and endowed by their creator inalienable rights. It is time that pepole are held accountable and not protected by the States for crimes committed against Domestic Violence. • Stop giving public money to the Chamber of Commerce
The local chamber is stacked with people who constantly raise money to support causes that help only one party. The local governments have supported the chamber to the tune of a little over $500,000 last year. We want our local government to stop supporting an organization that speaks for less than 30% of the population.

  • For Fair and Balance to the Home Owner and the Banks.
The current system allows the banks when they give mortgages, the borrower has to pay back the monthly payment as for example: Total mortgage $230,000.00 Monthly payment $ 1017.00 to Interest and $ 210.00 to Principal. It means 99% from the mortgage payments goes to interest. The Petition To be fair to the bank and the borrower to divide the monthly payment.50% to interest and 50% to principal. This will help the owner to have equity and pay his loan sooner. The new payment $ 613.00 to interest And $613.00 to principal. This is fair. Monthly payment 1,017.00 to Interest 210.00 to Principal It means 99% from the mortgage payments goes to the interest. • Chick Fil-A
Why is Chick Fil-A, sponsor of hate groups to the tune of $5,000,000, sponsoring children's programming on PBS? I find that totally inappropriate of PBS. Would they accept sponsorship from the Klan or Fred Phelps?

  • Get Jill Stein and Gary Johnson to the Presidential debates.
From the media coverage, you'd think that the only two candidates running for President were Romney and Obama. But they're not. Jill Stein is running on the Green Party ticket and Gary Johnson is running on the Libertarian ticket. Let's see if we can get them invited to participate in the upcoming Presidential debates.

  • Remove all bureaucratic obstacles to Cuba travel
President Obama's goal of greater engagement between Americans and Cubans is endorsed by two-thirds of our country and is the most effective way to foster democracy, friendship and mutual understanding. However a determined minority of mostly Republican Cuban Americans opposes all travel and successfully exploited the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to create bureaucratic obstacles to licensing and renewal of people to people programs. [See http://cubapeopletopeople.blogspot.com/2012/08/people-to-people-in-bureaucratic-danger.html ] Fortunately this problem has been addressed, at least in part and after unconscionable delay licenses are being renewed and granted. The President has the power to permanently open the door by authorizing a general license (no application required) for all purposeful non-tourist travel–just as he did for Cuban Americans, universities and religious organizations. By ending discrimination, the President will free every American to participate in special interest guided tours and professional and cultural exchanges or to travel with their families and independently, using less expensive public transportation, rental cars and privately owned bed and breakfasts. To encourage nationwide participation, all US travel agents and tour operators must be allowed to promote and book transportation, accommodations and programs instead of only a near monopoly of 250 mostly Cuban American Florida-based Travel Service Providers.
