Let us ask President Obama to assure us of his firm commitment to arrest the decline of integrity and productivity in the U.S. financial sector by promising to appoint Paul Krugman as Secretary of the Treasury in his next Administration. To convince Americans he intends to end the drain of U.S. taxpayers' money and citizens' economic welfare through the unregulated avarice and self-dealing of the U.S.banking and investment sector the President must drive the foxes out of the chicken coop. Unless we can be assured that the U.S. economic system will no longer be rigged to support this country's 1% but instead foster the well-being of the 99%, President Obama will go forward with tepid enthusiasm from his "base."

Because of a mandate, the Renewable Fuels Standard, 9% of fuel must be ethanol, so 40% of our corn goes for fuel. The UN has asked for end of mandate to relieve world food crisis. Ethanol pollutes, is less fuel efficient and costs taxpayers money. A governor must make request to EPA.

Residents of Matthews Estates and Country Place Drive in Matthews, NC who can only access their homes from Country Place Drive: The planned development of the ACTS expansion Application # 2012-589 at Fullwood and South Trade Street will change your ability to travel to and from your homes every day. Country Place Drive is our only road into and out of our homes; and the Town of Matthews is deciding to move the road in front of the ACTS facility without a traffic light or adequate turning lanes or pedestrian crosswalks, raising serious health and safety issues for all of us who drive or walk in the area. To eliminate special interest groups control over our elected officials

For months, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting in counties with large Democratic populations—casting tie-breaking votes to limit voting to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in urban areas like Franklin County, where in previous elections 82% of early voters did so on nights or weekends. Now he is considering implementing these restrictions statewide. This is unacceptable. My petition seeks to get the Franklin County Board of Elections to publicly support expanded early voting hours across Ohio.

Create a flat rate for all homeowners that have negative equity in their homes and high interest rates above 5%. Those who have rates lower would not be impacted. All loans regardless of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac ownership would be eligible to flat rate their loans to 5% saving money on their housing payments which would slow foreclosures and in turn put money back into homeowners poackets and spending in local economies.

Ohio has in effect had an early voting schedule . Secretary of State Husted has restricted some counties hours to 8 to 5. These hours don't allow all to vote due to some people's work schedules. Tell Secretary Husted to allow all Ohioans a time to vote.

Direct TV and Dish network customers have to sign a two year contract prior to receiving and viewing what they think they bought. Early cancellation penalties can range from $17 to $20 per month and up to $480 for a full two year early cancellation.

With the expenses always going up and income staying the same more has closed then opened in our county and fewer and fewer services are now avialable in our county so traveling out of county to get what is needed has added to yet more expense. Mean while more and more For Sale signs and just left to collect ugliness goes on. So how and when will our elected at all levels finally see this plight and start doing something to stop it now?
