Why is it that there aren't more insurance companies competing for business in Florida? In the homeowner's insurance market rates are leaping higher every year even though a hurricane hasn't hit Florida in seven years. I don't understand what our Republican Gorvernor is doing? He is not demanding or encouraging companies to come to Florida to compete in offering cost effective insurance for Florida residents. It seems as if it doesn't matter that one insurance firm is just hicking prices up in a monopolistic market at the expense of Floridian homeowners, taxpayers and most importantly VOTERS too. I thought Republicans were the party of free enterprise and competition in free markets? Not here!

There is too much trash in our streets. We need more people working (more jobs) to pick up the trash and clean our streets. And we need people to stop littering. Let's be proud of our cities and country so visitors speak well of us as a clean, beautiful place.

Ever since television went digital, those who do not choose to pay a cable company must endure horrible reception. Are you tired of "digital signal is weak" (blue screen), stuttering dialogue, frozen images? These problems have been happening since the conversion to digital, but the FCC has done nothing to remedy them, and the cable companies are more than happy to let it continue. Tell the FCC to fix this problem!

Send this to your congressman and the president Priority 8 is the regulation that allows veterans to be treated in the VA hospital if they are willing to pay a deductible. This is a benefit to those of us who make more money than the maximum allowed but cannot be covered by normal insurance because of pre-existing conditions. This was eliminated by then President Bush in 2003. As our population gets older, more of us will be left without insurance and hospitalization. Medical attention will be out of reach for a growing number of veterans that are working hard to earn a living as self employed Americans. We need your help. We served our country and all we are asking for is a chance to live a full life without the fear of getting ill or injured with no access to medical care. Mr. President, I am a veteran. I am self employed I have multiple sclerosis I cannot get insurance because of preexisting condition. PLEASE have congress reinstate the enrollment option for veterans to receive treatment in the veterans administration hospital under Priority group 8 that was rescinded under president Bush in 2003.

With Obamacare being FORCED on everyone in the US, it should also be FORCED on the president of the us, congress, House, Senate, SUPREME COURT JUSTICES, and anyone else. If it's good enough for the people paying the above's salaries, then it's good enough for them!

Tribal Health Facilities receiving IHS Funding should not be allowed to deny any Indian with a chronic health condition from receiving medical care at their clinic. As of July 1, 2012, the Seminole Tribe of Florida has decided to treat non-Seminole Tribal members for acute (Meaning short term illness) care only. They will no treat other Tribal members with chronic illness, such as Diabetes. This leaves many without affordable health care. Many are now uninsurable for traditional health insurance.

Yes, we are a nation of immigrants, but we need to reduce immigration to traditional levels so that it does not drive population growth and unemployment. In the 1970’s, our population reached 200 million, and we wondered how we were going to preserve our environment. People started having fewer children, But the government drastically increased immigration (and ignored illegal migration) to the point where we are at 325 million. We’ll be at a half billion by mid century! Meanwhile we are running out of resources and trampling the environment. If we maintain our current immigration policy, our environment will be destroyed by overpopulation. This excessive growth is also causing wage depression and outright unemployment. We have massive unemployment, yet we are importing workers faster than we are creating jobs. This makes no sense.

During these difficult financial times and due to the escalating costs of higher eductation, it would become a considerable help for many to have access to a 401K (without penalties) when withdrawn directly and expressly for funding higher education.

Any person that can use a web browser can watch free internet pornography. Go ahead and search "sex tube." You will see free clips ranging from 1 to 90 minutes. Before the internet you had to be 21 to view adult material. Now you just have use a browser which means kids can view it. There are web filters but they are marginal at best. Parents can keep computers in the open areas but that is marginal too. Kids have smart phones and look at their friend's computers. I am all for free speech but I also don't want my child learning about sex from the internet. Pornography sites should all have the .xxx extension. That way our filtering software will have a chance of succeeding. But the Porn industry doesn't want that and spent millions lobbying congress. The Porn industry wants to cultivate the next generation of porn addicts. This is nuts and we all know it. So why doesn't congress fix this ? It is an easy fix and it is consistent with what the states have done for decades. I have contacted congressman Charlie Dent who ignored me. I think the only reason congress keeps looking the other way must be the lobby dollars.

The citizens of the United States demand that both houses of congress and the president work in a spirit of bipartisanship and put the good of the country ahead of politics to do the peoples business for the good of all, while there is still time.
