Congressional Reform Act of 2012 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and Participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

As of August 1 these banks will convert senior accounts to fee carrying accounts. These banks are making record profits. They will increase those profits by ending senior accounts. Many seniors have limited income and benefit from having no fee attached to their senior accounts.

Term limits for justices of the United States Supreme Court

This is not a petition to ban fireams, only the demand for sensible regulation. No more sales of automatic weapons such as the AK 47 which allows mass killing. No more state laws that allow people to carry concealed weapons everywhere, as in Florida. More background information before guns are sold. Taxpayer subsidized private development in the form of Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) is a perversion of the intent of the legislation. It's use diminishes the tax revenues available to our schools and county government for an extended period of time, sometimes up to 20 or 25 years or more.

I have only witnessed this horror on tv. Unfortunately it's not the first time. We have noooooooo gun control. Why can't we run our country likes the English. In England even the "bobbies" don't carry guns. Things will just keep going on in this place. Nothing will change.

This petition is to alert residents to the fact that the largest property management company in the country, Equity Residential Properties, is attempting to dismantle Rent Control laws and Below Market Rate programs as millions of Americans are suffering from lack of affordable housing. I am currently a victim of their attempt to dismantle the Below Market Rate program in San Francisco despite being granted tax free bonds to build properties in San Francisco for the last 25 years.

Guns...easily purchased, any size, any shape, as long as there is killing ability! Stop this senseless need to murder. People who 'need' to own a gun are inherently carrying a very frightening message that is actually embedded in their psyche! They think that 'hunting' covers this but even killing an animal or bird is just another message that they are hard-wired for the next level down. Also, it seems that anyone can purchase, a psychotic, a terrorist and drug baron.

The petition is about allowing the Bush Tax Cuts expire at the end of the year and let the government "Go Off The Cliff." By doing that all the Bush cuts will end including the cuts for the 1% of extremely wealthy Americans. Then when the congress again brings up cutting the taxes for the 99% at the beginning of 2013 it will not be a raising of taxes and will render Grover Norquists 'contract to never raise taxes' null and void thus releasing Republicans who signed it from that obligation. "Off the Cliff" would actually only be a small bump in the road.
