Currently there are on going talks between an investor group(involving chris hansen, steve ballmer and the nordstroms) and the city of seattle as well as king county councils, to bring a new state of the art arena into seattle in order to have an nba team and an nhl team play in seattle. Mr Hansen and his group has a memoranda of understanding between the city of seattles mayor(mcginn), and his investor group on the proposal to build a new arena. Mr Hansen and his group are asking for $200 million in public bonding to aid in the construction of this new arena, and have agreed to pay all other costs of construction, a new nba team and any cost overruns or shortfalls throughout a 30 year binding lease. The bonds would be paid back via any taxes collected on use of the building. If you don't go to games, or set foot in the building you would never have to worry about being charged for it. If approved this deal would create 1000's of jobs and bring in billions of dollars into the economy in king county and seattle!This deal is about as good as it gets, yet the councils are dragging their collective feet and appear to be looking for reasons to reject it. Tell them you want it! Say yes! Bring back our sonics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The people (congressmen) against "Obamacare" should pledge to refuse their government health insurance along with their vote to repeal "Obamacare" . It is too easy for the well covered to deny health insurance for the poor when they are taking advantage of a benefit for themselves. When my husband almost died from an infection we found ourselves bombarded with bills not knowing if we would be reimbursed by our insurance, he was but it took months - In our little town of western NY, almost every supermarket has jars on the counters collecting funds to help someone pay for their serious medical bills or organizing spaghetti dinners in the fire hall to pay for medical bills for someone. Would a congressman like to depend on spaghetti dinners to pay for their medical bills ?

What happens when you don't pay your mortgage? When do we start paying down our debts? Your part of our national debt is growing every minute. Oh, Congress didn't tell you that to spend more money now they have decided to mortgage our future and the future of our children? Too bad. Now is time for you to act.

In order to return the country to the people, the effect of money in politics must be eliminated. It will not be possible to stop political contributions, but it would be possible to eliminate the need. Banning all forms of political advertising would make contributions unnecessary by eliminating the main source of campaign spending. Publically televised debates and interviews would replace camaign ads.

Some polls have shown that This poll after the Supreme Court’s decision upholding the heart of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a majority of Americans (56 percent) now say they would like to see the law’s detractors stop their efforts to block its implementation and move on to other national problems. If the economy and jobs are important to Americans why is it that Congress is still wasting time on the ACA after the law has been deemed constitutional? So I am asking Americans to stand up to political bullies and tell members of Congress to stop wasting tax payer money and time on a bill that is constitutional.
