EVERY RESIDENT OF CALIFORNIA is being cheated by the Thief Corporate Rich, NOT native to California, WHO PAY NO STATER TAXES. U.S. Supreme Court Decisions have REPEATEDLY allowed such taxation as an exception to general principles of INTERSTATE COMMERCE TAXATION PRINCIPALS. Republicans have hood-wink virtually ALL Citizens into believing such taxation is UNCONSTITUTONAL " under Interstate Commerce Clause." LIES in this are matches Republican LIES in ALL areas

  • Recall All Los Angeles County Judges
Candidates apply for elected positions get elected to these positions without any Democratic process (elections) or appointments by government, and to add more insult to injury these candidates are allowed to transfer to other elected offices in different jurisdictions without elections or following procedures and process. This FRAUD upon the voters and citizens of the State of California. Basically a candidate can obtain an elected offices in Long Beach and transfer to Inglewood without being re-elected or going through election process, however that candidates can defraud the voters and citizens of the State of California.

  • Made in America. NOT.
Hundreds of Olympians from the United States will be competing in the Summer Olympics in London at the end of this month. These athletes represent values that make America great: hard work, determination, pride in our country and the things we can accomplish as a nation. Unfortunately, the U.S. Olympic Committee seems to have forgotten some of those values. Instead of making sure the uniforms Olympians will be wearing during the opening ceremony are made here in America, the U.S. Olympic Committee decided to outfit them in Ralph Lauren uniforms made in China. More than 2.8 million jobs have been shipped to China since 2001. We have lost 6 million manufacturing jobs in the past decade. The failed policies that have encouraged companies like Ralph Lauren to create jobs overseas, not in America, have hurt working families and our communities. A number of well-known American clothing companies—from Brooks Brothers to Jones New York—can easily manufacture new uniforms in America, right now, in time for the Olympic games. As Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently said, “I think the Olympic committee should be ashamed of themselves. I think they should be embarrassed. I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again.” If enough of us speak out, the U.S. Olympic committee will be forced start over and find a supplier to make our athletes' uniforms in America. But time’s running out.

  • Senator Casey, Keep Social Security Secure
There is a move in legislator to cut SS in order to balance the budget. Average SS benefit is $1200/month. Mine is less. For many seniors, it is their only income. Senator Casey (PA-D) claims to support SS., but refuses to sign a letter written by his colleague (Senator Sanders (VT-I)) which would indicate where he really stands on the issue.

  • End the Adderall shortage
Millions of children and adults rely on Adderall, Ritalin, and related medicines to treat their ADD and ADHD, but a severe, year-long shortage has made these pharmaceuticals extremely hard to find legally. The shortage is a result of inter-agency squabbling between the FDA, which has included these drugs on its list of official pharmaceutical shortages, and the Drug Enforcement Agency, which limits how much of the active ingredient in these drugs manufacturers are allowed to make. Manufacturers and the FDA say the DEA quotas are preventing them from meeting market demand. The DEA accuses manufacturers of using their quotas to produce more expensive alternatives instead of less expensive versions people can afford. We call on President Obama and the other officials named on this petition to meet immediately to resolve the ridiculous inter-agency bickering that is preventing people from obtaining medical care. End the Adderal shortage NOW!

  • Fair Debt Collection Practises Act needs to apply to ALL creditors not just 3rd party collection ...
I recently discovered that the Fair Debt Collection Practises Act only applies to 3rd party collection companies and not to original creditors. This means that collection departments for original creditors can resort to any collection practices they desire and the consumer has no legal recourse to stop harassment, intimidation or deception. Regardless of who makes a collection call, original creditor or 3rd party collection agency no one should be able to phone a consumer about a debt before 8 AM or after 9 PM. I've been woken before 5 AM and after 10 PM by collection calls from a creditor. Likewise no one should be allowed to phone constantly regarding a debt. I've had a creditor phone almost hourly even after I've made an agreement to pay by a specific date; and although I had a history of keeping my payment promises with them. Their expressed reason for not stopping these harassing phone calls was because I refused to give them a post-dated check for the agreed payment arrangement. According to my bank post-dated checks are illegal and if a post-dated check is submitted early it will be processed immediately by the bank and not held until the date on the check. This happened to me once and resulted in huge overdraft fees, so I don't wish to experience that again. My problems with harrassing debt collection practises began after a job loss due to disabilies affecting my job performance, long term unemployment and a three year wait for approval of my social security disability benefits that caused me to experience severe financial hardship. (I worked hard all my life and paid into SS for nearly 30 years.) I got behind two payments on my car loan. Although I was able to catch up one month and continued to make monthly payments thereafter, I remained 30 days behind, and this triggered the creditor's automated debt collection processes.
