European Safety/Smog regulations are similar to but technically different from USA DOT/EPA regulations. As a result, there are many cars sold in Europe that get 50, 60, & even 70 & higher MPG that we are not allowed to import & drive here. Auto manufacturers like this since they can keep some models out of the USA that for marketing reasons, they don't want sold in the USA. Examples: The European diesel powered Smart gets over 70 MPG, USA gas powered version gets 40 MPG. The European VW Polo 3 cylinder turbodiesel gets over 70 MPG. VW doesn't want to sell it here. Mercedes Benz doesn't want to sell their A & B class diesels here because Mercedes Benz doesn't want to market their cheaper cars here since they market their cars mostly to the rich. Big Oil loves it since they can sell more gas. A VW Polo diesel (about the size of a 30 year old VW Rabbit) pollutes far less than legal Ford, Chevy & Dodge diesel pickups because of the way they measure diesel pollution, especially in California.

these Private corporations are basically putting people in debtors prison and using law enforcement too collect fees from people with simple speeding type tickets..one lady had a 170 dollar fine and they added 3000 grand too it and then sent her two jail for not being able to pay.the supreme court has already ruled the debtors prison is unconstitutional but yet these correction services corporations are bringing this stuff back and holding people hostage ..if they can't pay their so called fees..we need to stop these corporations from taking over our justice system..we need to get congress too pass a law so they can't put you on probation and send you to jail for a 100 dollar fine...we need to bring this to the fore front

I have not personally affected but I've become more and more concerned about the use of Drones by the military to target and kill innocent women and children along with any "likely" terrorists who might be hanging around. The price is too high. It's a weapon, much like the atom bomb, we use it at our peril. How many people do we have to kill so that we can be "safe"?

Now that the Supreme Court has upheld the Affordable Care Act - ACA - it is proper that Governor Walker take advantage of this funding that will help over 200,000 citizens of our state. It is an uncaring and callous person that would willfully deny any person access to health care when help is available to those needing this care

Rep don't understand capitalistic society at all. We have capitalistic means of production, but society is human capital and this is crucial to value of the dollar to EURO ,yen etc.Healthly society, with strong middle class , without waste, excessive pays.Money belongs to People -taxpayers, not to banks.We have to correct money flow -credits to save capitalism , not to destroys the way Republican are thinking - auto-destruction. No gold standard, wealth is relative to society capital.
