I am stuck with a 6 3/4% interest only mortgage rate that B of A currently services and will not reduce. I am not delinquent, have a high fico score - however the value of my house is underwater and my loan is privately owned. Wells Fargo and Chase have already lowered many of their mortgage rates without any fees or documented income. Why can't B of A do the same?

We are private individuals with specific freedoms, yet some cross the boundary as they physically abuse the community with sights and sounds that are not a part of enforcement agenda. If one remains private, the doors and windows are closed not to agitate those who are offended. We are an English Speaking People, and community business should be dialogued in this language, unless legally changed and the public is notified. There is assault and battery that occurs when persons publicly speak on the cell phone, the nature of the language is offensive and harshly abusive. As a public display of ignorance, it needs to stop, and be considered as a felony in the courts, punishable by fine and education. Community Noise levels are rising, especially in late night fireworks which are classified as illegal at any point of the year. Unless one has a permit issued with a notice posted, excessive sound should not allowed in the community. Furthermore, Enforcement by the Police must be imposed, or the State shall impose said fine upon the Management of The Public Safety Department. Immigrants unless certified as legal citizens and residents of the United States of America are temporary visitors, and thus can be reported Immigration Control for potential deportation. The Patriot Act is taking a way our constitutional rights, this independence day I did not feel independent with acts such as this that are there to strip of us our rights! I am angered that the Patriot still exists and although I have not been personally affected yet others have!

Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) is the largest electric monopoly utility in New Mexico and supplies 60% of its energy needs by the combustion of coal, with adverse affects to our economy, environment and health. Its coal-fired plant releases more than 8.5 million tons of CO2 into the air annually. Commissioned in 1973, this 1800 mega-watt coal plant is one of the dirtiest coal plants in the west and is responsible for smog at 22 national parks and wilderness areas in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. It is one of America’s largest single sources of nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxides, particulate matter, and other toxins. Now is the time to switch from coal to renewables.

Everyone agrees the legislative branch of our government is dyfunctional. One reason is that Congressional Districts are so carefully drawn (ie. "gerrymandered") by the political parties, only 50 of the 435 seats are really "open election" seats. This stymies the political process and generates idealogues who are not interested in the best interests of the American people.

My son's dad has been in prison for almost thirty years on a 25 to Life Sentance. He is now in his early fifty 's with a variety of health issues. When he was arrested for murderer back in 1986, he was suffering from a sever brain injury and was threatened with the death penalty if he did not take a Life Term plea bargain. He had no previous criminal history and his crime was committed in the hopes of protecting children who were being abused by the victim on a regular basis. He is now much recovered from the injury and knows he committed a horrible crime. His is only one story out of hundreds. Another Lifer inmate has been in prison over thirty years for the crime of accidently killing his mother's boyfriend as he was beating severely beating her. He too is over fifty years old with no release in site. Both of these men committed one crime, both to protect a weaker person and both are serving Life sentances and both are now elderly and suffering from health issues that, collectively, cost state tax payers thousands of dollars a year in health care. A decade ago, the state housed 6000 inmates 55 and older. In 2012 it is more like 14,000 over 55. By 2017, there will be an estimated 20,000. That is an amazing figure. Even Judge Anthony Kline knows that "recindivism among Lifer prisoners is less than 1%. " Let our Lifers go home when they have served their time. Save the state money. Thank For your time. Only 50 Congressional seats are truly "electable" in terms of real competition. All others are "gerrymandered" to be either Republician or Democrat. I do not believe our founders intended this. With modern technology, it is time to allow real American competition to re-invigorate our political process.

Implementing the Affordable Health Care Act

When the Michigan Legislature passed and Governor Snyder signed the Fireworks Safety Act of 2011, their goal was to increase revenue to the state of Michigan and to encourage citizens to buy consumer fireworks in Michigan rather than in neighboring states. The result has been a drastic increase in the amount and violence of private fireworks displays all over the state of Michigan, thereby endangering people, pets and property. It is not worth the additional revenue. We want to return to the time before 2011 when these airborne fireworks were illegal to sell, purchase and use in the State of Michigan.

The Republican Party has been hijacked by CORPservatives, tilting the playing field to the benefit of corporations and the 1%. Through voter suppression tactics, outlandish advantages in candidate funding, and with the aid of a complicit media, they intend to win still more power despite declining faith in their motives. To combat this, we need all Democrats - and conscience-prone Republicans - to adopt the Fair America Platform which will embrace a return to the standards of integrity and civil justice that America spent 200 years building.

The legal caveats read after radio and TV ads are presented at speeds of conversations that are impossible to understand. They make a mockery of the whole idea of disclosure of conditions and limitations implicit in the ads.

Toyota continues to allow racial discrimination at it's dealerships against African American customers and employees. The "Toyota Cares" program is a fraud! My daughter and my wife and I were discriminated against to two different Toyota dealerships, Claremont Toyota and John Elway's Crown Toyota. Toyota thinks it has fixed the problem by putting minorities in their television commercials!
