Any new people considering running for public office MUST work full time at minimum wage for ONE YEAR of their life. Not as a kid living with their family, but as an adult. No supplements or help from friends or family. Too long we've been electing people who are from rich families and far removed from the reality most Americans have to face at one time or another. If they wish to represent us, they must live as most of us.

Every President, according to the Constitution, has a responsibility to commute sentences of worthy inmates. President Bush & President Obama have the worst records but it's not their faults. Ronald Rogers has withheld worthy petitions, and withheld supporting documents. He should be replaced by someone who is just, fair, compassionate & competent.

The vast majority of those on Medicare who are disabled suffer from a mental illness. This effects millions of people of all ages. Mental health parity, or allowing mental health coverage to be the same as physical health coverage in insurance, was passed by Congress a few years ago for employers' health insurance. Yet, the government's own form of insurance only covers 55% of mental health bills (as opposed to 80% for physical health.) It is critical that Congress even the playing field by passing mental health parity for Medicare as well as for all other insurances. To not do this would be the worst kind of discrimination.

Although I basically believe in the concept of the bill, I do think that it needs to be rewritten to make it more transparent and easier to understand. Should it be mandatory for everyone considering many make so little that they cannot afford the insurance. What is the workaround?

We do not control our money, our government does not control our money. Our money is loaned to us with interest from the federal reserve, creating a never ending debt to a private institution that does not have the peoples best interest at heart. We should not be taxed by the sweat of our brow. We should not be taxed at all. Our taxes do not go to the services we think we are paying for. Sure, we get a nice little refund from the IRS, but those are the same people who will garnish your wages and put you down until you can't crawl out of your debt, causing you to file bankruptcy. You and I do not stimulate the economy. The economy is controlled through few hands and well placed propaganda. We need to put a stop to this. We should not let a machine run our lives through fear of its collapse. So sign this. Abolish the reserve. Free yourself. Eliminate the income tax. There are so many things wrong with the America we put on paper. We are not free. The patriot act is straight from nazi germany. We are headed down a BAD path. End wars. Save lives. Educate yourself.

Whatever it takes - any branch of the federal government that can be influenced to overturn the Citizens United Ruling. This decision by the Supreme Court has had a tremendously negative impact on our political process and democratic principles and continues to challenge the very essence of which the United States of America was founded upon. We must petition our representatives and appointed officials to reverse course before it is too late.

Corporations have stacked the deck such that they have all the rights of individuals and very little of the accountability. Corporate power has far too much political power and thereby limits the political power of American citizens. It is time to restrain and outlaw corporate lobbying, corporate financing of political campaigns, and corporate spending for political purposes.

Manufactured Homes do not qualify for the Government refinancing. Presently, there is NO one out there who will finance or refinance a Manufactured Home. This is discrimination! It has happened to me and millions of others. There are over 10 milliom people living in Manufactured homes. We cannot get any help! We are told that we have the wrong property type. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants, but we need to reduce immigration to traditional levels so that it does not drive population growth and unemployment. In the 1970’s, our population reached 200 million, and we wondered how we were going to preserve our environment. People started having fewer children, But the government drastically increased immigration (and ignored illegal migration) to the point where we are at 325 million. We’ll be at a half billion by mid century! Meanwhile we are running out of resources and trampling the environment. If we maintain our current immigration policy, our environment will be destroyed by overpopulation. This excessive growth is also causing wage depression and outright unemployment. We have massive unemployment, yet we are importing workers faster than we are creating jobs. This makes no sense.
