Anyone who places a political ad that is dishonest or misleading about their opponent should have all their ads banned from use and they should pay a huge fine to be turned over to the public. free speech doesn't mean obtaining political office by lying to the people.

The prohibition of alcohol was a complete failure, and the current prohibition against marijuana is, and always will be a complete failure in which our government is spending over a billion dollars a year of our tax money trying to enforce an insane law that has ruined tens of thousands of lives by sending non violent "criminals" to for profit prisons. Over 50% of all Americans have stated that they want this insane and impossible to enforce law overturned, and 70% of all Americans agree that medical marijuana should be made available to those in need of this cheap and easily gotten natural herb that has been proven to help many unfortunate people suffering from serious diseases. The billions of dollars that are wasted trying to enforce this insanity could be much better spent on things like education, health care, roads, bridges, green energy and much more.

It's simply that as Legislators, elected & sworn to serve the citizens of the U.S.A., they should have no exclusive right(s) to taxpayer paid Health & Life Insurance; as well as Pension provisions. They are NOT privileged citizens, in these matters any more than any citizen. They should pay & contribute to their own financial future just like every citizen.

For example in Manchester Iowa USA transgenders here have been beaten and molested by local law enforcement. After it happens owners of films of these acts by law enforcement then tamper the film to advance their own testimony. I have heard of this all around the world. But when it hits you and your town as above this crap has to stop. I was beaten and molested in Manchester. Iowa law is to protect me from this

Congress should stop siding with special interest groups! End corporate personhood and return to the reality that a corporation is an entity, not a person! represent the people you were elected to serve and quit allowing lobbying (legalized bribery) to be the norm! People, not $$$$$, should elect our representatives!!

Congress refuses to defund this school in spite of its Latin American terrorists who teach there. President Obama has signed a bill to defund, but our Congress refuses to go along.

Real properties owned by religious institutions are tax-exempt. A tax on those properties is not only needed to help pay the cost of government but also to fairly distribute the cost to preserve freedoms. This tax should be levied at both the federal and state level.

Killing whales is making a comback. Any nation that allows comercial whaling should have all it's exports - agricultural, fishing, manufacturing - embargoed by consumers.

The US Transportation Security Administration, formed with the intent of preventing another terrorist incident like those in September of 2001, has shown over the past 2 years that it is completely and entirely out of control. I and many other travelers have been forced to forego availing ourselves of the advantages of rapid air transit under threat of gross violations of our civil liberties, privacy, and dignity. When a White House petition for TSA's abolition reached 35000 signatures, the TSA Administrator himself responded to the petition, stating that the agency refused to disband and that it had plans for 10 more years of operation. We now call upon Congress to take the choice away from the agency and its administration, and force the abolition of TSA to protect the freedom of the traveling public.
