• Race Inequalities in the Criminal Justice System LAWS that effect OUR Children [black boys] in Am...
Whose going to cry for the little boy inside of Our Children? Who’s going to speak on our children behalf? He being the boy that the justice system here in Gerogia is legally claiming he is considered a man at the tender age of 17. What 17 year old can even maturely think for himself? Medical Studies states the brain does not begin to resemble that of an adult until the early 20s. Georgia Law 21 years old buy liquor 19 years old to buy cigarettes 18 years old to get a tattoo 18 years old to access clubs 18 years old before you can vote 18 years old before you can be evicted from your parent’s home With a 30 day notice But at 17 years old is consider an adult for any crimes, whether misdemeanor or felony THESE NUMBERS DOES NOT EQUATE Appropriately A 17 year old exhibits actions and mind set of a 15 year old. I WILL HAVE TO CRY FOR HIM WILL YOU? Who is willing to hear my son cry? Who’s going to speak for him? He being the boy, being the man society try to make him, cannot speak for himself. He cannot speak for himself in this unjust Justice System that is in place, which is effecting, affecting and infecting OUR children and OUR families. 1. Let’s take back our children. Take back our right to discipline. 2. Let's ’s take back our right to pray in schools 3. Let's put a stop to the Enslaved environment [jail] is a system that is monopolizing off these kids ignorance and monopolize of their families as well. 4. Let's fight for the right to speak on OUR childrens behalf in the Justice System until he reachs the age of 21. We currently [in the State of good olde Georgia cannot speak for, speak to or defend the child at 17 year old except with Legal Paid Representation. A public Defender will not speak to a parent if the child is 17 years old, yet the National Medical Association cleared describe a physical Man front frontals does not even start to mature until approximately age 21 [no one will speak to you concerning your child, in Georgia, not the public defender, not the District Attoneys, not the police, not the courts, NO ONE IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM, using the age limit excuse] THIS HAS TO BE CHANGED. These young men do not understand the Legal Language, some cannot even read for themselves, let alone understands when they are signing their lives away based on what the System tells them. Not what is always Legally the right decision for that young man to make. Our children are signing their lives away. 5. Let's fight for the right that a legimate family that is inquiring on their love one should have the right to do so without being harassed, by those that have the POWER over those that are incarcerated. 6. Let's Fight for accountabily of those that are in Power [the Police Departments, the Courts, The Judges, the chief administrative officer in the Prison {warden's}, the prison guards {especially}, etc.} over those that are incarcerated. LET'S BE THE VOICE OF THE LITTLE BOYS THAT ARE CRYING OUT FROM INSIDE

  • Fix Health Insurance for Congress
Our Congressional Representatives choose their healthcare plans from a menu of "gold standard" health insurance plans. Let's demand that our elected US Congressional Representatives choose from the same plans available to their constituents. For example, my 26 year old daughter who lives in Utah in not eligible for insurance because she was born with a congenital anomaly. If a Congressional Representative from Utah has a congenital anomaly, should that representative have insurance that is not available to their constituent?

  • Medical Care for Wisconsin Citizens
Right to life is impossible if a person does not have reasonable, affordable access to medical care. Without quality health care insurance, this access is grossly limited at best. Years of health and financial problems have left many in this nation either prematurely deceased, unnecessarily ill, and/or financially ruined. Wisconsin has already lost valuable time due to the Governor's refusal to follow the recommendations/requirements of the Affordable Health Care Act and he is still refusing to do so. How many more will die, become unnecessarily ill, and financially ruined while this delay continues? For those people, should the legal system allow recourse?

  • Approval Voting - Getting past the "Lesser of Two Evils"
Even after we get money and corporations out of politics, we will still be stuck with choosing between the "lesser of two evils" unless we adopt an extraordinarily simple change to go from our current "Plurality Voting" method to one called "Approval Voting". The Problem For example as a Progressive in 2000 you might prefer Ralph Nader over Al Gore. But you know that voting for Nader could cause Gore to lose so you must vote for Gore (whether you see him as the "lesser of two evils" or simply less desirable) to stop Bush winning or vote your true preference and risk Bush getting elected. The Solution Approval Voting allows you to vote Yes or No for every candidate on the ticket. So vote Yes for BOTH Nader AND Gore, while voting No for Bush. You do not have to compromise your values and you do not in any way aid Bush in winning. The Purpose of this Petition The purpose of this petition is to get as many organizations as possible to educate their members about Approval Voting and to demand it. Ultimately we want support from organizations across the spectrum; non-partisan, civic, professional, issue-oriented, Green Party, Libertarians, non-profits, NGOs, corporations and ultimately even the Democratic and Republican parties. Let's start with MoveOn.org spearheading the effort because many members here are opposed to preemptive war, murder by Drone, bailouts for financial criminals etc., regardless of which political Party is abetting the crime. • Governor Haley Stop Blocking Progress
The Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress, signed into law by President Obama, and now has been upheld by a ruling from the United States Supreme Court. Why, then, are South Carolina officials like Governor Nikki Haley, Attorney General Alan Wilson, and their cohort of state Republican leaders still trying to stall implementation of the Affordable Care Act?

  • new smart energy sources
asking all levels of government to consider green and natural power sources that reduce all risks especially those now understood by the Fukushima Power plant in Japan. The Goal: to stop all radioactive risks including adding more toxic barrels of radioactive materials to our caves, oceans and others etc..government officials should be tugging with pride on the oil companies to easily invest in these new technologies and stop their money campaigns to delay green and renewable energies. It is in everyones best interest to move forward with smart technologies that have zero or little residues. Our Earth Our children don't deserve this chaotic mess we have made in the name of convenience.

  • End Bad Laws
For over 235+ years all of the early organized political parties have consistently manipulated our laws at one time or another in our history for the express reason of eroding the "Natural" rights and freedoms of the American People. From the very first draft of our Constitution and Bill of Rights there was many revisions which focused on ones personal agenda based of their personal belief system which was and is strictly prohibited in that very Constitution. Along the way our Justice System allowed many of these rights and freedoms to be consumed by endless delays and conjecture that in the end no due process was allowed. This is now the 21 Century and our laws need to be revised for this cultures mindset and not that of the 17 hundreds for the simple fact that they don't apply anymore. It is time for the American people to hold all our elected officials accountable both past and present for their actions and to bring to justice all of these changes manipulated by those who voted for these bad laws.

  • Tell Governor Walker to fully implement the ACA in Wisconsin
An estimated 13% of the adults under 65 in Wisconsin reported not seeking health care because of the cost in 2010. The percentage of adults under 65 who reported not seeking health care because of the cost in 2010 works out to an estimated 448,000 people in Wisconsin. The decline in access is not surprising, given the increase in the rising cost of health insurance and the decline in employers providing health benefits. http://www.jsonline.com/business/access-to-health-care-declines-in-wisconsin-nationwide-8h5agns-150534135.html

  • Do the right things
Putting ObamaCare in action is the right thing not only for those individuals who have a hard time attaining work but for those who have exhausted their insurance policies/benefits. For example, I sustained a head injury some years ago and have exhausted mine. Along with that, finding a job with benefits has been challenging. I can understand people's oppostion to this bill because illegal immigrants also benefit from it, but what about those who are discriminated against for something that was out of their control? Many people oppose this bill for absurd reasons, but they also fail to look at the positives this bill could also bring.
