Military retirees and their dependents (such as myself and wife) are eligible for "Space Available" flights on Air Mobility Command aircraft. Only otherwise wasted seats are used. Of the six category levels of "Space A" eligibility, I'm only asking that my level, the 6th and lowest, be expanded to include veterans rated by the Department of Veterans Affairs as 100% service connected disabled. My wife and I have flown to England, Germany, California, Ohio, Maryland, etc. via Space A as Category 6 passengers. How unfair it is that those who gave everything but their lives for their Country, that were medically separated and did not have a chance to retire from the military, are not eligible for Space A. Extending this benefit to these totally disabled veterans would cost NOTHING! Remember, only otherwise wasted seats are used for Space A, and all the administrative systems are already in place and operational.

On July 4th, I had the opportunity to ask Bill Young, the man who represents me in Congress, if he might support raising the minimum wage. His response, before walking away: "GET A JOB." Bill Young is out of touch and doesn't understand how the minimum wage impacts my life. Yet he doesn't have any problem increasing his own wage on the backs of taxpayers. I recently found out that he voted to increase his own salary to nearly $175,000! Join me in asking Congressman Young for an apology and a real answer about why he doesn't support raising the minimum wage.

New homes being built must have solar hot water tank and solar panels installed by the builder and be American made. It's outrageous that solar is not being used in the southern and southwest states and California and Hawaii. Owners of older homes should receive a hundred percent tax credit if instslled within the next 5 years. This shoud be a huge savings for home owners in the long run and save millions of gallons of oil.
