Scott threw away thousands of good jobs when he refused the federal billions$ for highspeed rail in FL.. Now he wants to prevent the 100% federal funding of healthcare for all Floridians without coverage and sentence millions of Florida children and families to sickness, poverty or death

Cut Defense spending by 10% and balance the Budget

Elected officials need to be able to run and debate other politicians running for public office on the merits of their specific policies they are promoting without taking money contributions to fund their campaigns. The old way of politicians going to the wealthy, the wealthy sponoring a politician and big business financing political campaigns only corrupts and influences our elected decision makers to pass laws and regulations to benifit those that fund their campaigns.

Medical bill collections are ruining individual credit scores. This prevents people from being able to purchase items on credit which in turn is destroying our economy.

Governor's Jindal's disregard for federal law.

We need to put term limits on all Senators, Congressman, Alderman, Judges and even Supreme Court Judges. Many of these individuals are just sitting there biding their time to retire on obscene pensions while they enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers.

Most, if not all, Republicans HAVE PLEDGED ALLEGIANCE to GROVER NORQUIST (and his insistence on their ALWAYS voting against ANY new taxes). Such a pledge MAY under some circumstances supersede the allegiance to THE flag of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. An occasion may happen, for example, in time of war or another SPECIAL NATIONAL NEED that new taxes are not only important, but even necessary. The Republicans' NORQUIST pledge may interfere with national security.

As a person with a chronic disease, I know the difficulty of obtaining affordable care. Many Louisiana residents are without health insurance, one of the reasons we rank so low in all health indicators. The governor and attorney general need to stop playing politics with the health of Louisiana residents and implement the provisions of the Affordable Care Act.

Despite clear and convincing cases of outright fraud in the financial industry, there has been nearly no indictment or jail time imposed on the perpetrators. This lack of enforcement of the laws of the land threatens the very fabric of the Republic, sending the wrong message to law abiding citizens and businesses alike.

Hospitals charge people without insurance one inflated price, while giving large discounts to insurance companies for the very same procedures. If that person can't pay the hospital will come after them for the whole inflated price, not the discounted price. I propose a bill saying hospitals cannot charge individuals any more for a procedure than they charge the insurance companies.o

Amend to include all Veternan's not just after 9/11/01. It is unfair, unacceptable. The requirement is Veteran we should have the same beneftis. This also had option in-state tuition offered to students. FL,OH & KY have adopted this policy. We were denied due to discharged in 1989, denied to apply. The door has opened if you are a student after 9/11/01 they tell yout to come in an apply, before that the door is shut no options, no benefits? Tell me this is fair? We need to help our children at a time where Fannie Mae Home Modifications are 2-4% and student loans 7.9%? We need to look at our future our children need our help today!!

Many Brazilians visit the US on a regular basis; the US has imposed a Visa Fee of $160.00 for each Brazilian desiring to visit the US. Brazil charges the same for Americans visiting Brazil, this is in reciprocity. All other nations the fee is $20.00 with the exception of Canada which is $60.00. Our Visa Fee on Brazilian Tourists is counterproductive, we need to encourage tourism not stifle it.
