• FOX NEWS - Does Foreign Born Rupert Murdoch Have The Best Interest of the USA and her Citizens?
It seems clear that Fox News does not subscribe to TRUTH and INTEGRITY in reporting news. One University study says that watching no news is better than watching Fox News' "truth." I contend that Fox News is BAD for America and America's Future.

  • Prosecute Banking Execs and SEC/FTC for the financial theft perpetrated on America.
The Banking Industry meltdown and the international recession resulted from their fraudulent practices and the failure of government oversight. Those fraudulent practices have been well investigated and documented. Former high-ranking officials from every sector of the banking industry and the SEC and FTC have testified to or documented what happened and who is culpable. Still, little reform has been made in the banking industry to protect us from another financial catastrophe. And the perpetrators remain at large, spending our money while we lose our homes and our life savings. Congress did little but a slap on the hand to the banking giants for their crimes. Nor have SEC and FTC officials been held accountable for looking the other way as our investments were embezzled. We cannot let Congress ignore this huge elephant in the room. Our economy cannot remain in the hands of criminals. Let the White House and Congress know by May 1st that this injustice must be vindicated.

  • Gender Discrimination by DMV
Iowa DMV since Iowa law changed in 2007 has refused to update its licencing of Driver lic. In Iowa. On present license it states the word SEX. Iowa law contains no words in such manner which can be more diversified. Gender is the new proper title and in such Discriminates against all Crossdressers and Transgenders and Transsexuals. I have suggested that Sex be deleted and Gender be accepted. Under Gender on license is M. for male or F. for Female and T for Transgender and if proof enough C for crossdresser of which there will be very few. Transgenders are public persons. All ready Law suit in Delaware County of Sheriff who didnt know Iowa law.

  • Single Parenting Leave Act (SPLA)
The Single Parenting Leave Act (SPLA) is an act that I would like to be approved to protect single parents in the United States of America from being subject to discipline with their employers for attendance issues caused by or derived from fulfilling their parental responsibilities. Ex: Single Parent A is at work and receives a telephone call that his daughter is sick and needs to be picked up from school immediately. It is against this employer's policy for it's employees to have unscheduled absences without a supervisor's approval. However, Single Parent A notifies his employer of the situation and states he needs to use his employer approved Single Parenting Leave Act benefit to cover his unscheduled departure from work. The supervisor checks to see how many hours of this benefit is available for this employee, verifies there is an emergency situation taking place, and acknowledges that Single Parent A is a single parent with sole parental responsibilities, therefore approves for the Single Parenting Leave Act benefit to cover the amount of time and unscheduled departure that Single Parent A has requested. Single Parent A is immediately protected from discipline for attendance and all requests for discipline for attendance.

  • America Needs More Water
The only sustainable way for us to get more fresh water is to desalinate it. The only practical way to desalinate water is to do it offshore. And the only way this will effect more than coastal communities is for the Federal Government to oversee it. Desalination is inevitable. The only question is will we drain all of our groundwater first. Done right, pilot offshore renewable powered desalination plants will lead us to water - more water for everyone. Offshore desalination plants are resistant to tsunamis, earthquakes, rising sea levels, terrorism, and individual plant breakdowns. Moreover, offshore desalination plant salt emmissions will negligibly effect deep ocean salinity levels. Also, an important spinoff of developing renewable energy off the coast for desalination plants is that the technology and infrastructure will greatly help us in overall development of wave, solar, and wind energy.

  • Please contact MN Governor Dayton to veto the TRAP bill.
Please contact Governor Dayton and ask that he veto the Targeted Regulation of Abortion Provider (TRAP) bill that singles out abortion providers for medically unnecessary, politically motivated state regulations. These bills grant broad authority to the state department of health to develop structural and staffing requirements for abortion clinics based on existing hospital guidelines that are not medically necessary or justified. Uniform standards for all outpatient medical procedures have been rejected, and only one procedure - the abortion procedure - is blatantly chosen to regulate. In the United States abortion providing facilities are regulated with an exceptional safety record and can be recognized as a public safety model for the rest of the world. Abortion providing facilities are already required to abide by a variety of federal and state regulations. These include the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and local, state, building and fire code regulations. In addition, the National Abortion Federation (NAF) has established evidence-based Clinical Policy Guidelines as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists professional guidelines for abortion clinics. All medical professionals are required to maintain professional standards and licenses and complete continuing medical education courses. If Governor Dayton does not veto the TRAP bill, many Minnesota clinics may be forced to close. Many of this clinics are the only abortion providers serving large geographic areas even expanding into neighboring states without providers. In addition to abortion care these clinics are also some of the only providers in Minnesota that provide low cost/free preventative reproductive health care including pap smears, breast exams, low cost birth control, STI testing and emergency contraception to populations in need. This is urgent. Please sign this petition as soon as possible to ask Governor Dayton to veto the TRAP bill.

  • Money in the Wrong Place Corrupts Democracy
This is not a petition but needs to be a Constitutional Amendment. Without a means to reform campaign financing and the problems caused by Citizens United our Republic is in serious danger. Campaign finance reforms need to be at local, state and federal levels. Perhaps this is too broad but without reforms we continue down the same destructive Divide and Rule path..

  • NO POLITICAL PARTIES
"United we STAND, divided we fall." The political culture of the United States is, and has been divided, competitive, hurtful, dishonest and secretive, all of which are counter to the intent and purpose of a constitutional republic, in mindful service to its citizens. The function of political parties is to divide the people against themselves, instructing them what to believe, think, feel and do. The result of such self-destructive behavior has brought us to the status of "dangerous superpower" around the world. Given this… A prudent, responsible citizen would ask themselves, "Who benefits most from a divided America? Isn't a unified citizenry better than a suffering, divided one?" Is this what you want for life, and your children's? Imagine a supreme court free of political or financial influence. Imagine legislative, executive and judicial branches of government, working harmoniously for the people, and having NO political or financial influence in their decision-making. Considering this… Would you vote for the abolition of political parties and corporate, financial or individual self-interest in government? Would you vote to STRONGLY regulate governance, and administer harsh punishment to those who transgress the the law of a true democratic republic? Imagine a nation where politics as we know it is understood to be dangerous and aberrant. Imagine a society wherein division in politics is no more. No more conflict, lies and manipulation. Make it happen, now, and reap the blessing of a true national equality. Your children and their children deserve it, and it is their birth-right!
